Men’s Championships 2026 🏆

What a weekend we have just had for our Men's Club Championship.
The greens were absolutely pure and the course played tough, with Sunday's wind picking up to make the second day very interesting.

Congratulations to our Men's Champion Golfer of the Year - James Pitcher! Well done Pitch 👏👏
After a close first day, to come out with a composed and controlled second round to get his hands on the trophy, it was a very well deserved victory.

Our Nett men’s Champion was the only person to shoot handicap over 2 days.
A testament to not only the conditions but also the way he handled himself in the second round to keep control of the championship after leading on the first day and a fantastic way to crown his Captaincy year. Congratulations to Stuart Hogg 👏🏻

2026 Seniors Championship 🏆

Our Seniors Championship this year was a fine day for golf with cloud coverage in the morning with the sun gradually making its way out to shine on the golf course.
There was some great golf on show in testing conditions - a huge congratulations to our Scratch Champion and retaining the trophy for yet another year was Sean McCann shooting a fantastic 72. And our Nett champion, who shot a Nett 65 - Glen Filer, congratulations to both our champions! 🏆

It was a great pleasure to host the young Hampshire championships last week.

All the children looked to be having a great day and some excellent golf played by them all but more importantly they had fun!

During one of the hottest and driest summers on record, our team has continued to maintain excellent playing conditions where possible. A huge thank you to our greenkeeping team whose hard work and dedication have given us a great course to play though out 2026 and beyond.

Through drought and heat waves we protected our course.

🏆 Our annual Pauline’s par 3 championship took place this week, the lady members traditionally compete at Ampfield GC and were welcomed to a lovely day on the par 3 course.

Our very own Boundary Lakes GC treasure Pauline always looks forward to hosting the day for her fellow lady members for a great day out together.

Together our Winner with 40 points- Lyn Perry and runner up with 33 points- Shani Clarke.

What else is there to say other than thank you for an incredible captaincy from Chris in 2025 to which we are extremely grateful for the effort and passion he and his family put into the year, we hope you are very proud of what you have achieved that’ll live long in everyone’s memories.

Chris’s charities for the year where Alfie’s Wish and Bone cancer UK with an equal split of money raised.

A massive thank you to all our members who attended and donated to all the events and challenges along the way, we are all extremely grateful for your generosity and support. 🫶

We are very proud to have raised much needed funds for both charities and the work done by them will continue to grow and give to many families in the future.
