What an achievement after a challenging 24 hours! A massive well done to all our team members for an incredible effort. 💪⛵

No gear failures is a true testament to the skill, preparation and teamwork of everyone involved. Only one quick capsize… but that doesn’t count as the burgee didn’t get bent! 😂

Preparation is well underway at the club! Boats are arriving, base camps are being set up and the keen ones are out practicing on the lake! 💪🌊

The race is at West Lancashire Yacht Club, starting 12am Saturday.

Come down, support the team and soak up the 24hr race atmosphere! 🙌⛵

Get it in the diary. The 78th Wilson Trophy will take place slightly later in May next year. 14-16 May, book it in your diary now!

We’re ending our 125th celebratory weekend on a high with a delicious afternoon tea after tidal sailing this morning. We’ve had inflatable games in the boatshed with kids and parents having fun and a fabulous cocktail party on Saturday night. Thank you to everyone who has helped and joined in the celebrations 🎉
