Yesterday, I was told at very short notice my usual venue for Strength and Balance ♎ wasn't available.

Putting a plan in place with just 45mins to spare...we ended up at Elmgrove Recreation in Walton. Having a fitness session outside doesn't feel right for some of my members but for these fab ladies it didn't matter.

I am beyond proud and they let me test road a new routine for such events or small spaces, nothing like team spirit!

All my members rock, their dedication to improving and maintaining their health after 60 is incredible ❤️

During August Vitality-Fitness will be taking Strength and Balance to St. Mary's Church Hall in on a PAYG basis.

It's a class that focuses on strength, flexibility, mobility and of course balance and stamina!

Come along with a friend. It's all about community, making friends & having a laugh whilst increasing over fitness and wellbeing.

'Your value is an inside job'

Let that sink in for a second....I bet you have had more than one moment comparing yourself, fixated on insecurities, tearing your body apart. I get it, I do this too. What I have come to realise is that your value comes within, we should not be validated by the images we see in advertising, social media and so forth; we need to see the value in 'us'.

You mean the world to your parents, partner, brother, sister, children, friends...(You get the picture) and they are not criticising how big your waist is, whether you have rippling abs, super model legs or a butt that no one can deny 😘

They value and love YOU as the whole package, mind and body!

So please; this summer be kind to your body, it literally is one of a kind, so use it to dance, skip, run and have fun with the people who you love and value.

I'm a PT in this crazy fitness world but I believe your mindset has a lot to do with achieving your fitness goals, so if you want to change your health and wellness, I'm ya gal.

Remember 'Your value is an inside job'

I've been a Pilates instructor for 9 years and a lover of pilates for 11 years. I love the way it makes me feel strong even with the wobbles. The core and pelvic floor activation and the inner calm during practice... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE 💕

Yet, to this day, I battle with the weakness in my left hip and my lower back sometimes just doesn't want to release. Does this make me a bad instructor? I say 'Hell No!' I'm human, I'm not a super pro machine and I personally feel people in your classes want you to feel the niggles because they can relate to you. I teach my classes with passion, professionalism and making sure my clients leave feeling lighter, stronger and perhaps a little achy 😀
