Good 3rd round stoppage for Folade on Sunday at Maximus III in Coventry.

First round was a bit shaky — opponent came out fast and tried to set the pace. We stayed switched on, stuck to the plan and grew into it.

Angles, body work and level changes started to take over. Big moment early with a clean sweep that took a lot out of him.

His opponent kept coming forward, but we broke him down over time.

Solid performance and another step forward.

A great night for the team tonight.

Damian stepped in for his second ever fight at just 5 years old and secured another win! His confidence continues to grow every time he gets in the ring and we’re incredibly proud of him.

Harry took on a very tough home opponent and fought his heart out from start to finish. Unfortunately it wasn’t his night on the scorecards, but performances like that build real character and valuable experience.

Win or lose, every fighter is developing every time they step into the ring.

WUMA British Championships - Cheltenham 🇬🇧

Yesterday Weston Warriors took 3 fighters to the WUMA British Championships — and they delivered.
We returned with 1 British Champion 🥇Medal
and 3 Silver 🥈🥈🥈

Riley & Liam fought their way through the division and met each other in the final for the British title - two teammates, same club, championship final.

For that fight, I stepped away from the mats. No coaching. No instructions. Just trust in their preparation and the standards we train to every week.

They drew the first round.
They drew the second.
It came down to first clean scoring shot.

Under pressure, both boys showed composure, control and maturity beyond their years. Liam edged it to become British Champion — but both represented the club exactly how fighters should.

Thank you to the parents and supporters who continue to back the Fight Team week in, week out. Results like this don't happen by accident - they are built through structure, discipline and consistency.

As we bring 2025 to a close, it has been an incredibly positive year for the club.
There has been a great deal of hard work, commitment, and support across all classes, resulting in strong progress throughout the year.

I would like to say a big thank you to all parents for your continued trust, support, and encouragement. It is greatly appreciated and plays a vital role in the development of our members.

We now look ahead to 2026 motivated, focused, and prepared for the challenges ahead.

Today at the WUMA European Championships in Cheltenham, our fight team made a serious statement on the mats.

🥇 4 New European Champions
🥈 1 Silver Medalist
🥉 1 Bronze Medalist

Every single fighter left it all out there — showing pure grit, skill, and heart from start to finish.
For some, this was their first major tournament… and they all rose to the occasion like true warriors.

Massive respect to all the parents, and supporters who continue to back us every step of the way.

This is just the beginning.
The titles are trophies… but the moments are what we live for.
