📣 Announcement – Emergency Services Chill & Chat Sessions 🚓🚑🚒💨💨💨

Now that the summer season is soon to pass,… we’ll be holding some FREE Chill & Chat sessions for Emergency Services personnel across Devon, Somerset and North Somerset.

Who are these sessions for? 👇

These are uniquely designed sessions specifically for people within the Emergency Services who may be experiencing stress, burnout, the effects of trauma or PTSD, but perhaps don’t feel there’s an environment or understanding for them within the standard approaches on offer.

Self Awareness ✅

Due to the sensitivity of these sessions, we won’t be publicly announcing when individual sessions are taking place, nor will we be sharing photographs of the people attending,… all participants wanting to attend must reach out direct or through their employer wellbeing team.

We’ll also be implementing elements of Ocean Therapy within the sessions. 🌊

For the avoidance of doubt,… Snappy Sups Chill & Chat sessions has never been funded by, affiliated with or connected to local Freemasons or individuals belonging to.

I am not a Freemason. Although I have been invited to join on several occasions, I have each time declined and do not wish to be a member.

Chill & Chat does not accept representation, involvement, sponsorship or participation on behalf of the Freemasons or any Masonic organisation.

That doesn’t exclude individuals who happen to be members.

They are absolutely welcome, just like anyone else who fits the purpose of these sessions — but they attend simply as themselves, not representing a lodge, organisation or wider group.

That’s an important distinction.

Chill & Chat remains, self funded and completely independent.

Roman The Great 🙌🙌 - last but definitely not least is Roman who’s been supporting Snappy Sups at Marine Lake Tuesdays and Saturdays on his days off from being an RNLI Beach Lifeguard 🏊‍♂️ 💨💨💨

Roman was the first person I’d put trust in to run things after realising that the business has peaked as a one man band 💯

Roman is very proactive, he needed very little input from me, I literally served 3 people once then Roman stepped in and simply recited everything absolutely bang on 🙏

He’s got the credentials and qualifications,… but more importantly he’s able to converse, confidently and has a great competitive edge that makes him a highly valued member of the Snappy Sups Squad 💯

He’s not one to shy away from getting mixed in,… a voice note from Roman could include anything from saying he’s rented 51 boards today,… or that he’s just helped deal with an open fracture on the beach 🚑

A top lad, with a great community focus who I’ve got a lot of time for and very much appreciate his support this year at Marine Lake 👊

Job done ✅

Liam’s energy and enthusiasm has been everything I sought in a staff member, plus more 🙏

From point of contact when he reached out back in March about working Snappy Sups - Torbay he’s been absolutely buzzing to be involved 💪💪

I asked him if he’d like to a couple 1:2:1 lessons this week and like always he’s right up for it ✅

As the summer season comes to a close we’ll get more time in September to provide lessons and sessions at all sites 👇

I can’t emphasise enough how much of a valuable member this young lad is to the Snappy Sups Squad and he fully deserves recognition for his efforts this summer ✅

I’d like to say thank you to this gem of a bloke 💎

I met Pete 3 maybe 4 years ago when he came in for a 1:2:1 session on the river in Taunton, it’s not my place to tell his story but it’s safe to say he was going through the worst of what life can hand out 💯

I could feel where Pete was at that time, and I could also see that he’s a fantastic character, with a bucket load of determination and Resilient as f**k 💪

Peter had and has everything that’s required for someone to completely rebuild themselves and bounce back,… my job was to simply try to help him see that 😎

It starts on the water, building confidence in skills, but we do it so it’s transferred into everyday life 💪

I’ve watched Pete grow, and become a friend that I’m very proud of, and it’s been an absolute pleasure to witness him do so,… a proper pleasure 🙌🙌

He’s also been a huge help and support for me on days when I might need extra hands, I don’t ask,.., he literally will jump on a train and show up 🙏🙏

I’d just like to show thanks to him, because I really value what he does, and his journey continues to go from strength to strength,… it’s superb to see 😎

He’s not the only one,… Resilient Revolution is more than just a board,… the board is just the beginning ✅
