Pre season done 😮‍💨 8 matches played, 4 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses 👊

The lads have done extremely well this pre season playing 6 matches against higher league opposition gaining valuable experience against top teams/players and 2 matches against other division 3 sides

Now for the rollercoaster that is the Weston & District season 🤩❤️

Looks like we will have a weekend off after all 🤦🏻‍♂️ For reasons out of our control tomorrows friendly has been cancelled. See you all for our season opener next Saturday

Are there any clubs in Weston & District that don’t have league fixtures this weekend that would be interested in a friendly this Saturday? Unfortunately our scheduled opponents have had to give us a walkover this weekend so we’re looking for a game 🤞🏻 Thanks in advance ❤️

What a rollercoaster pre season it’s been here at Oldmixon United 🤯 Good performances, bad performances, good results and bad results but all in all a massive step forward for the club 👊

We also managed to retain almost all of last seasons squad while also adding 8 new faces to the side. All of the signings will add something to the squad this year and we are really looking forward to having them ❤️

Our amazing volunteers behind the scenes have also worked extremely hard to put the club in a better position for the present and the future 😁 We have 2 new volunteers on the committee aswell as all of our coaching staff now being DBS certified laying the foundations for the long term stability of the football club ❤️

Things are looking bright for Oldmixon United and we look forward to another season with you all supporting us starting Saturday 🤩🟣⚫️

Good win and good performance to end a successful pre season. We started slow going 1-0 down but a quick reshuffle and some stern words and we turned it around quickly controlling large parts of the game 👊 Really good debuts for our two new youngsters Riley and Oliver both getting some good minutes ❤️

As always credit to Burnham United they gave us a tough game and they were certainly tough to beat. Some good players coming through there A team ❤️

Riley joins for 26/27 ✍️ Another young talent that impressed at our open training session ❤️ Massive potential in this young centre back who we hope to help develop over the season with regular minutes in the side building his experience. Another we’re really excited to have at the club 👊⚫️🟣
