REGARDING COVID-19
In the light of the current health crisis, we wanted to inform you that like all other businesses, we are taking precautions here at Skydive Tilstock. At this stage we do not intend to close the drop zone unless otherwise instructed, and we are currently trading as normal.
An outbreak of the virus within the centre could be detrimental by impacting the health of our team and our ability to operate or result in us having to close. Therefore, we ask that in order to keep both you and us safe from infection, you please follow the guidelines below:
Please do not come to skydive if:
• You are experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms: coughing, fever, or shortness of breath
• You have been in contact with someone who has contracted the virus; or
• You have recently travelled to or from any of the affected areas; or
• You have been in contact with someone from an affected area.
If you need to re-schedule your tandem skydive you can do so and we will waive any re-scheduling fee.
What you can do to help prevent the spread of the virus:
• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitisers, maybe bring one with you;
• Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze. Then put the used tissues in the bin straight away;
• Avoid touching your face;
• If you are worried about symptoms, please call NHS 111. DO NOT go directly to your GP or A&E and do not come to the skydiving centre at all.
• If you are jumping with us, it would be helpful if you could please bring your own gloves, instead of using the centre’s gloves.
• If you are jumping solo, please use as much of your own kit as possible and we would encourage everyone who is going to continue to jump, to purchase their own goggles.
