Been busy in the Pool recently. Enjoying a mix of different sessions. This 20 x 100s with Pull Buoy was a great session. Kept the recovery to 30 secs.

Treadmill running….. takes strength!

Rest Days….
Adaptation is made when your muscles recover from stimulus. Without recovery you will plateau and run the risk of injury. As you age you require even more recovery time and nutrition becomes even more important.
I often advise clients to make every session a “ Bang for Buck Session” in other words a session with purpose and control.
Sometimes less is more! Learning to rest is part of the process of fitness.
