Anyone any resent photos of visits to Kie Park.?! Be lovely to see it still being used, as its just passed its 9th anniversary.

Can I point out if anyone gets a request on Instagram from Kie skatepark it has nothing to do with this page and nothing to do with the charity. Kie Park does not have Instagram. Thanks.

7 years of Kie Park.

There have been reports of a Black Range Rover driving on the park today around 4pm. We do have the registration and will be reviewing the CCTV and passing this onto the police.

6 years ago we opened Kie Park up followed in July by official opening. Can't thank everyone enough for the hard work and support from that first crazy idea to today when I hope the sun is shinning and smiling faces out there on the park .

Don't post much out of Kie park but if people could keep an eye out and let Lucy Lawson or dawn Lawson know if they see anything or DM here and I can pass on. Thank you

Ok it hurts to post this as I try to trust and respect all age and s*x groups etc. Kie Park was built by years of support from children probably of 8 years plus at the time, lots of respect and need for a thing the town would never get. Those kids still support it today even if now they have outgrown it. I know the past 18 months have messed all heads and now you can go out or your kids can, I'd hope one thing that people can hold is respect. Kieran was 15 and full of life. Blink of an eye someone took that away. Be easy to hide but with support and not a need to carry his name as he's ours. Took the move to try to give something whilst we could to Whitehaven. So many have supported the concrete UFO that fell from the sky to become Kie Park. I'd ask can you please ask or teach you children respect. I don't want Kie park to be about Kieran but if you need to explain in order to reach them from throwing bottles etc on the park then please do. It's 11 years since a 15 year old boy went and hence the park. So I get a 4 year old at the time has no respect however as a parent please keep an eye and teach them morals , respect and how hard it is to get things. Don't always aim at boys either . I hope Kie Park can be what it was intended and a place the town needed
