A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their Saturday afternoon yesterday to help bring in the marks and moorings! 👏

Our club simply wouldn’t run without the amazing volunteers who give up their time throughout the year to keep everything ticking along. We really appreciate all the hard work, time and effort that goes on behind the scenes. Don’t worry, that’s not sailing over for this year. The Autumn series is running on Sunday from 15:00 ⛵️

Topper Northern Championship 2026

A fantastic turnout from CAYC, with seven sailors taking on the Topper Northern Championship at Carrickfergus Sailing Club!

👏 William Darragh put in a strong performance to finish 5th overall in the 4.2 fleet, including a 2nd place in Race 1.

Also competing in the 4.2 fleet was Arlo Kernaghan, while Daniel McKeegan, Aoife Pollard, Sara Halliday, Ben Halliday and Lucy Maxwell all competed in the 5.3 fleet.

Well done to all seven sailors for representing CAYC on the water! ⛵👏

Challenging conditions for day 1 of the Topper Northerns at Carrickfergus Sailing Club. Well done to all our CAYC sailors competing!

👏 William Darragh had an excellent result, finishing 2nd in the 4.2 fleet and Arlo Kernaghan finishing 13th.

In the 5.3 fleet, well done to Daniel McKeegan (18th), Aoife Pollard (31st), Sara Halliday (32nd), Ben Halliday (34th) and Lucy Maxwell (40th).

Well done to our members who headed to Killaloe Sailing Club for the RS Nationals. In the RS200 James & Annabel in 2nd, Luke & Ben F in 3rd and Calum & Rory in 7th place. Jocelyn and Rowan finished 7th in the RS400 with Jocelyn as 1st Female Helm 🥇
