FitSteps At The Coast with Dawn

One thing I love about teaching dance fitness is watching people achieve more than they thought they could.

After last weekend's Charleston workshop, a theme that kept coming up in the feedback was how much people enjoyed learning a full routine from start to finish in a short space of time.

It was definitely a challenge - but that was the point.

And seeing everyone go from “I didn’t think I could do it” to dancing it all the way through with energy and confidence was just brilliant.

Those moments are my favourite part of teaching 😊

Today's Charleston workshop included some choreography that really made everyone think, but everyone stuck with it and look at the result! Sharing a tiny snippet with you...

There was lots of laughter, plenty of concentration, even an impromptu tap routine in the middle - and a real sense of achievement by the end of the afternoon.
