HEADS HELD HIGH IN SHEFFIELD 💔🃏

It wasn't the fairytale ending we fought for, but what a journey it’s been. We fell short in yesterday's final with a 4-1 loss against Sheffield Blazers.

We threw everything we had at them, but their team and netminder put on a brick-wall performance, holding us to just the single goal. From the very first whistle to the final buzzer, every single player in a Jesters jersey put it all on the line and left every ounce of energy out on the ice. You couldn't have asked for a bigger shift from the team.

🏆 STILL PLENTY TO BE PROUD OF!
Despite the final result, we didn't come away from the weekend empty-handed!

The team proudly picked up our Group Winners Trophy alongside our Finals Runners-Up Trophy and Medals! 🥇🥈 Some silverware to bring back home to the Bay—something every single player!

What a game! We punched our ticket to the Ice Hockey Summer Classic Final with a massive 13-9 WIN over the Sheffield Ice Tigers IHC in an absolute goal-fest at Ice Sheffield! 🏒🚨

The Tigers came back strong every time we went ahead, but the team dug deep in the final period, created a gap, and held firm to seal the victory. Solid, relentless effort from every single player on the ice!

# 14 Hughes: 4G 🚨 (Putting on a absolute clinic with 4 goals!)
# 8 Knott: 3G 🎩 (Hat-trick)

It’s here, this weekend, we battle for the Keg (cup) !🏒🥅

DRAMA IN HULL! GROUP WINNERS & PLAYOFF BOUND! 🃏🏆🔥

What an absolute rollercoaster in Humberside yesterday! We went toe-to-toe with the Kingston Fat Dads in a 10-goal thriller, finishing 5-5 in regulation time.

Goals came from ;
# 18 - Margerison 3G 🎩
# 45 - Holden 1G
# 88 - Downs 1G

Ice Hockey Summer Classic

With Cup rules taking us straight to a best-of-3 penalty shootout, the tension in Hull Ice Arena was high:

🎯 THE SHOOTOUT BREAKDOWN:
Round 1: Fat Dads lost the puck on their attempt. Jesters # 88 Downs stepped up, sent the netminder left, and tucked it right. 1-0 Jesters! 🚨

Round 2: Fat Dads scored. # 8 Knott fired a hard shot, but the keeper made himself big and got a shoulder on it. 1-1.

Round 3: Fat Dads converted their third shot. #18 Margerison took the final attempt under huge pressure, going low left, but the netminder just managed to get a stick on it into the pads.

The Fat Dads take the extra point for the shootout win, but the 1 point we secured for the shootout loss was huge!

That crucial point brings us to 13 points to finish our group campaign. With Durham Dragons only able to reach a maximum of 12 points, it’s [un]official [pending league confirmation]... WE ARE GROUP WINNERS! 🥇🏆

🚨 NEXT STOP: THE PLAYOFFS!
We are heading to Ice Sheffield for the Playoffs on the weekend of 22nd August 2026! 🚌🏒 Our game time will be either 9:00 AM or 11:15 AM—we'll drop the exact details as soon as fixtures are locked in.
