I'm Laura and I'm a Yoga Alliance Professionals (YAP) accredited yoga teacher, having completed my 200-hour teacher training at Newcastle Yoga School in November 2023.
In addition to my role as a Yoga Teacher, I've spent the last decade building my career as a dedicated Recruitment professional. With experience gained from working at two global recruitment firms, I am passionate about collaborating with business leaders to elevate their hiring strategies and assisting them in forming high-performing HR teams.
While my professional journey is rooted in the corporate world, my true calling lies in guiding individuals toward inner peace and balance. Through yoga, mindfulness, and meditation techniques, I strive to empower people to carve out moments of stillness amidst the chaos of everyday life.
My passion is to support people to find space within their everyday lives - I love helping people explore what self-care and self-compassion means to them and how they can ensure that these practices take priority in their busy lives.
I have a particular interest in exploring the impact of yoga and meditation on mental health and well-being, particularly in mitigating stress, fatigue, burnout, and sleep disturbances. I believe that yoga equips individuals with the resilience to navigate life's challenges and embrace happiness and vitality.
