Tomorrow, the WBR Men’s XV take on Washington in a pre-season friendly at Hillheads — KO 2pm!

The lads are looking strong, with a full squad packed with talent and are ready to put everything they’ve worked on during pre-season into practice. After the defeat to Darlington, they’ll be looking to bounce back in style and get the win!

The Clubhouse is open from 12pm, so come down, grab a drink, enjoy the atmosphere and get behind the lads from the sideline! Your support makes a difference.

Saturday 5th September - KO 2pm

We’re really excited that after having to call off our pre-season fixture against Washington, we’ve managed to reschedule a match THIS Saturday 5th September with a 2pm KO down at Hillheads!

A great opportunity to put more pre-season training in to action with some important lessons learned from our first pre-season defeat against Darlington.

The Clubhouse will be open from midday, so let’s get behind the lads on Saturday on the side lines and bring home a win!

🚨 UPDATED FIXTURE LIST 🚨

As many of you may already be aware, the RFU has made the decision to push back the start of the 2026/27 season due to concerns about the hardness of pitches after such a hot and dry summer!☀️

As a result, our fixtures have had to be shuffled around a little bit, and we wanted to keep you up to date with a revised fixture list for both our 1st XV and 2nd XV.

This does, however, also include our extra pre-season double header fixture on 12th September at Hillheads where our 1st and 2nd XV teams will be in action against Acklam!

As always, all of our fixtures are still subject to change, but the easiest way to keep up to date is to make sure that you are following across our social media pages!

Bring on September, here’s to a great season ahead and we look forward to seeing you all on the sidelines!
