It’s going to be a busy couple of weeks, two old clients who had Asbestos Surveys completed in 2014 both showed Asbestos in damaged condition with recommendations to label/repair/remove both clients ignored the recommendations and have not monitored the Asbestos, so have been told to get new Surveys completed and carry out the recommendations.
One site is 5 acres the other 5 industrial units.
And we are taking a single sample from a under stairs cupboard For £50 all jobs are importan.

Your buying a house and you pay for a full house Survey. You get the report that tells you that you should get the Artex in the 3 upstairs bedrooms .
I am called in to sample only to find the ceilings are wallpapered not Artexed.
Ask your Surveyor if he has Asbestos Awareness Training that’s the second time in a year, Training is a legal requirement

We are open for business observing social distancing in all areas, this includes Sampling Asbestos Surveys and Removals.

Amazing people. Very knowledgeable. Very professional and conscientious. Keep the customer informed at every step. Made us feel very at ease. I was getting a log burner put in and the company installing just wanted to rip out what looked like a heat board in my chimney. This company was called out to inspect it and we had results very quickly that it was asbestos...they came out quickly and professionally and took the board away while we were out the house, dread to think what could have happened. very clean work......extremely reasonable and competitively priced... .such lovely people. Cant thank or recomend them enough. If needed asbestos removal again they will be the first people I will call

Some times I hate my job.
I was called out this week to a job where a distraught woman had called out 3 other contractors when her Husband had pulled down a porch ceiling board inside her home with the associated dust and debris that comes with it.
She was scared the board may have been Asbestos the contractors went from telling her it could be taken away for £100 to telling her it was AIB and she would need a complete house Environmental clean running into thousands.
None even suggested testing a sample.

A rushed through sample showed it was non Asbestos £50 well spent.

Another busy week with a Urgent job to do a Asbestos Survey for a hospital unit installing a £250000 piece of medical equipment. We found Asbestos Bitumen in the floor and it had contaminated the lino so we had to run a 12 hr night shift with 3 of us to clean and clear so the floor could be completed ready for the machinery the next day.Never a Dull moment
