The biggest observations and biggest cultural adaptations I’ve had to overcome since landing in Australia 3+ years ago🍦
Hang so tight for part 2!!
How do you know if you don’t try?
Moving to Australia has been the most challenging worth while thing I’ve ever done.
It’s bloody hard, but I’ll make sure it works out because life is amazing here ☀️
🇦🇺 HAPPY 3 years in Australia 🇦🇺
Over three years ago I moved to Australia with no real idea how it would turn out. I just knew I needed a change.
It has been a vision of mine many long years. I was sick of the black cloud that followed me and lacked connections with a lot of the people around me.
There have been ups where I’ve felt happier, healthier and more myself than I ever have. And there have been downs where the distance hits hard and I miss my family more than I know how to explain.
The good stuff: 🎉
☀️ My mental health is the best it’s ever been for 10 years.
☀️I’ve built genuine, meaningful connections. Which I have never expirienced before.
☀️My lifestyle is healthier and more active, physically I am so so much stronger.
☀️I’ve matured A LOT!
☀️I feel more grounded in who I am and how I function
☀️Hot winters and daily sea swims
The hard stuff:
🥵 Missing my family and missing out on their stories.
🥵Starting from scratch more than once.
🥵Lack of security and many hoops to jump through.
🥵Making sacrifices that don’t always feel fair
🥵I don’t tan
The good stuff out weights the hard stuff time after time.
The truth is, this move has asked a lot of me. But it’s also given me a lot back.
The support from my family, even from the other side of the world, is the reason I’ve been able to keep going. That support makes every tough moment worth it.
Australia is home now. DO IT! 💜

The PEPT podcast is ready to roll, with some expert chat around strength training the over forties.
Delving into the importance of regular and relevant strength training as we age.
The first few episodes will be aired in the coming weeks.
So if you’re over 40, and not doing regular strength work. This is probably a good listen for you 🫡

Jumped into a workshop with two local S&C legends recently.
Big focus: the power of strength as we get older (yep, even from 40+).
I have been coaching for a decade now, in many different capacities. I’ve aged myself over that time and gotten first-hand experience of ‘Use it or Lose it’!
The main takeaway? There’s no one “right” way to train. Just start with what you can do. Focus on the basics - which most of are lacking.
Do nothing, and the ageing process does the heavy lifting for you — in the wrong direction.

Hydration is fundamental to our daily function and is so often neglected. 😬
It seems everybody is so focussed on reinventing the wheel when it comes to their goals that they totally bypass the fundamentals.
Also, the days really are starting to get a lot warmer now, so bare that in mind.
It’s all in the evidence baby 💋

Losing body fat is simple, that isn’t to say it’s easy. 😵💫
I have been helping women for almost a decade now. 😮
Guiding them to drop up to 5-8kg in 3 months and KEEP IT OFF 🤯
Stop reaching for crazy fad TikTok trends and advice or following the same plan as your neighbour. ✋
It really is the simplest actions that will make the biggest changes. BUT that doesn’t mean it’s easy!

I forget I’ve been coaching for almost 10 years now…
Recently I have been lucky enough to deliver my Nutritional Wellness talks to organisations along the Sunshine Coast.
These talks allow people to adopt simple changes within their current lifestyle.
Enabling more productivity, more energy and more vigour for life.
Whilst steering them closer to any specific goal they are working towards.
So far my talks around ‘Mindful Eating’ and ‘Eating Better’ & ‘Nutritional Hacks’ have all had incredible feedback.
‘Aaron’s presentation was easy to digest and everyone went away feeling super encouraged.’
‘We can’t wait to invite Aaron back for more in the future.’
WOTSO - Sunshine Coast
‘Aaron’s webinar provided valuable life hacks to make ‘eating well’ easier.
‘Creating an invaluable session for those seeking to improve their wellbeing through nutrition.’
YOUI - Sunshine Coast
‘Engaging, humorous in the right places and really left me with some food for thought. I know we will all take something away from today’
Dryden Associates - Sunshine Coast
Often it is the smallest changes that create the biggest impacts.
this is what I try to express to my clients and within my talks.
Small, well-thought changes will get you much further than instant dramatic changes.
If you need any help with making effective changes in your nutrition and exercise routine
OR, you would like me to deliver a seminar of a webinar to your team and help them excel at work and at home.
