FIRST HYROX DONE (solo)

Absolutely loved it ❤️

Finished in 1:24 and I’m genuinely really proud 💪 but also very aware there’s plenty of room for improvement.

The sled pull definitely humbled me, technique was all over the place, I kept stepping on the rope and even fell over 🤣
Caught up with the person in front of me on BBJ and wasn’t sure if I could overtake, and I know I could push my running pace earlier instead of just at the end.

Lots to work on for next time.

Also people weren’t joking about the judges being STRICT 😅

LFG

I’ll be taking on my first HYROX this Sunday. It was a bit of a last minute decision! I picked up a second hand ticket a couple of weeks ago, so there hasn’t been much time for specific prep but I’m excited to give it a go and hoping my general training will be enough to get me through and enjoy the experience.

I’m also using this as an opportunity to raise some money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that does incredible work for people and families affected by cancer.

If you’d like to support, donate, or just cheer me on from afar, it would mean a lot 🤍 (link in bio)

Bring on Sunday! 💚

Made it! 🏝️ It was hit and miss after a gastro flu bug hit our house hold but grateful everyone’s better and we are soaking up some sunshine ☀️

It’s been a hot minute since starting back in December and I’ve loved every minute. Socials always take a back seat when life gets busy, but I’m really happy to finally share the news.

BLAZE & Battle Box instructor at David Lloyd Herne Bay🔥💥 🥊 you’ll find me there every Monday & Wednesday 🤍

What a morning. My first triathlon—The Oysterman—and honestly, I loved it 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️
Whitstable had such a great atmosphere—it really felt like a proper community event.

Signing up early on in my post natal journey felt like a big step but having something to train for gave me a focus—and joining two amazing training groups made all the difference. I’ve learned new skills, built confidence, and made some really lovely new friendships along the way.

This morning I was up at 3am breastfeeding and wasn’t totally sure how the day would go, but I’m so glad I gave it a go.

Definitely not my comfort zone… but already kind of excited for the next one.

First mini triathlon:
300m sea swim 🌊
16.5k bike ride 🚴
4k run 🏃‍♀️

I was nervous going in, but ended up loving it — especially the swim and the run (my faves 💛). Big shoutout to the plucky crew and the kind fellow tri-ers who helped keep me on track during the bike leg 🙏

Feeling proud, a little more confident, and definitely one step closer to the Oysterman 💪🐚
