Proud moments like this never get old! 🤩
This is Oona, nearly a whole year into consistent strength training, gradually building confidence, strength and resilience. Progressing weights, moving better, fuelling her body well, keeping active and feeling the real day to day life benefits that come with it.
Recently her son came over from Ukraine, absolute pleasure to meet Lee and after seeing her progress, took the time to meet me personally and say thank you. He told me he’d tried for over 15 years to get her through the gym doors but it never quite clicked, until now.
That’s what good coaching should be.
No pressure. No ego. Just patience, trust, education and consistency.
Strength training at any age isn’t about chasing numbers, it’s about independence, confidence, longevity and quality of life. Oona’s putting the work in now and she’ll be reaping the benefits for years to come.
