Some photo's from today's arms session.
This was a superset at the end which involved the following exercises:
15 X barbell curls
15 X overhead extensions
15 X hammer curls
15 X triceps push downs
No rest in between sets, but at the end give yourself 2/3 minutes and repeat 3 times.

One of my main passions is to focus on muscle building with my female clients and break the stereotype that 'women shouldn't lift'.
Weights not only help to shape your body but they also increase your muscle strength, as well as the density of your bones, preventing health problems in the future such as osteoporosis.

Thanks for giving my personal training page a like, here's a little bit about me...
I'm 26 years old and have been a qualified personal trainer for the last 4 years.
I graduated from Loughborough Uni in 2011 and immediately started working towards my personal training qualifications. As soon as I started on this venture, I knew it was going to be a passion of mine and I've not looked back since.
I have always been a keen fitness enthusiast and have played football for as long as I can remember. In between using the gym and working, I currently play football for Herne Bay Ladies- another great passion of mine.
Personal training to me is more than just writing programmes for clients and shouting at them to "PUSH FOR ONE MORE" in the gym. It's about understanding not only each individual persons goals, but also their home life, commitments and what exercise they enjoy. All of my sessions are designed to be fun, but challenging, and as hard as you will be working, you won't want them to end.
They say abs are made in the kitchen...this is indeed true. Due to this, I promote healthy eating and am always happy to provide personalised nutrition advice to my clients. As hard as we work in the gym, it will be of no use unless we are as strict in the kitchen as well. I am however a realist, and understand the delicate balance between working/ gymming and eating well. Cheat days will be encouraged and healthy but tasty foods will be introduced into the diet. Everything in moderation!
I use the gym 4-6 times a week myself, varying the sessions from cardio and weights to football specific. For the body to grow and develop it is important to keep it guessing and this is achieved through mixing up sessions daily. Personal training enables this to happen by making every session different and specific to you.
That hopefully gives you a bit more of an insight about me and has helped you to understand the true benefits of personal training with me.
