Thank you to those who attended the AGM last night, and to those who chose to join the committee.

At the meeting, after 15 years of service as our treasurer Fraser has taken the decision to step down.
We thank Fraser for all the time and effort he has put in over his many years and hope to see him on court more regularly.

Following the AGM the position of treasurer remains unfilled.

If you are interested in taking up the treasurer's position, or would like further information please send me a message.

Full minutes from the AGM will be circulated in due course.

Thanks
David

On 18 February 1980, the club moved to the brand-new £23,000 courts built at Harmsworth Park, where we remain today.
The opening match was played by Dr D. Paul, the chairman at the time, and Mr D. Lamont, the club’s first chairman in 1961.

46 years later……. Carolyn Miller (formerly Carolyn Paul) and Donald Murray Lamond.

What a brilliant way to finish our 65th anniversary weekend!
Our Wick Squash Club juniors were put through their paces this week by two of Scotland’s top squash players — Scottish No. 4 Rory Richmond and No. 5 Finlay Scott! 💪🏽🏆

Rory and Finlay took charge of the junior coaching session, putting the youngsters through a great mix of drills, fitness work and match-play, while sharing plenty of tips, advice and encouragement along the way.

The juniors worked hard, embraced the challenge and had a fantastic time learning from two players competing at the highest level in Scottish squash. 👏

A huge thank you to Rory and Finlay for giving their time and helping inspire the next generation of Wick squash players!

Throwback Friday
This weekend as we take time to celebrate 65 years of Wick Squash Club and reflect on the history, memories and players who made the club what it is today, these pictures tell the story of our beginnings as a club and the opening of our "new" home in Wick

We hope to see as many of you as possible at our open afternoon tomorrow.
