OPEN DAY JULY 4th from 11am-2pm
An opportunity for all Ladies of Wickford and surrounding areas to come in and look around our Fitness Center. Book a slot to use the machines with Instructor Guidance. Take part in a ‘Body Blast’ or a Class. This is your chance to try us out for FREE. At Gymophobics Wickford in addition to a personalised program, one to one reviews, nutrition advice and classes; we also offer Diet Club and a Walking Group. "It's just a period."
If you've ever been told this when talking about heavy bleeding, painful periods, or other menstrual health concerns, you're not alone.
This Fibroid Awareness Month, we're joining the call for better education, support, and action to help women and girls understand the signs of fibroids and get the help they deserve.
Fibroids can cause:
🌸Heavy periods
🌸Painful or irregular periods
🌸Tummy pain
🌸Lower back pain
🌸Needing to p*e more often
🌸Constipation
🌸Pain during s*x
And while they're often brushed off as "just period problems", these symptoms can have a significant impact on everyday life, making activities such as work, education, and socialising more difficult. You deserve support, and you have the right to seek medical advice and treatment.

Ladies our ‘Barbecue Pack’ raffle is on! Tickets are £2.50 or x3 for £5. The pack comes with a variety of meat from our local butcher J Clarke & Sons and any excess funds will this year go to Debi pictured here with the lovely Sky Butcher, who lost everything she owned in a house fire last week. Debi has an autistic Son, Caleb and together they are trying to navigate their way through this traumatic time so please help us to help her. We are still collecting for Sky as well so if you have any clothing, toiletries, bedding etc it will be passed on to Sky as she continues her epic support of our Homeless Community. Thank you x

Ladies we look forward to many of you returning to the gym this week now that temperatures have dropped. It is possible that this could change and that temperatures could soar again and if this happens we now have a contingency plan relating to the opening hours which will be put in place details of which will follow in due course if needed. Please join our Gymophobics Members Only Page on FB for all updates that relate to members.
Meanwhile, whilst England remain in the World Cup, though most matches have to date, not affected our opening hours, on Wednesday 1st July, kick off is 5pm. As the World Cup is once every 4 years and 90% of the Country will be watching,the gym will close at 4pm on that day.

Ladies due to the weather warnings tomorrow, we will be closing between 12.30pm and 5pm. We will reopen at 5pm but if you are not going to be coming in, whether you have booked or usually pop in; please let us know as soon as possible. There will be NO classes tomorrow though Diet Club will still take place if enough members turn up. Keep safe ❤️
