She heard it from everyone.
“You’ve dropped your calories too low.”
“Your metabolism’s adapted.”
“That’s the wall you’ve hit.”
Not one of them was right.
This is Corrinne 👇
✅ She lives with POTS — so grinding herself into the ground was never on the table
✅ Her partner’s a pro footballer, so her week never looks the same twice
✅ She’s dealt with things most people would’ve quit over
And the theory around her was always the same: she’d gone too low, her body had shut down, end of story.
But the science told me otherwise.
This wasn’t adaptation.
It was behaviour.
Her day-to-day intake was moving around far more than she’d clocked
so what she thought she was eating and what she was actually averaging were two different numbers.
That’s not a metabolism that’s given up.
That’s a habit you can see.
And one you can change.
So we didn’t crank the intensity.
We built awareness.
We locked in consistency.
We dialled it to the level that suited
HER — not a template.
And she got leaner than she’s ever been.
As her body stopped bracing against her, her health followed
and under her doctor’s guidance, she’s now stepping down her POTS medication. 🙏🏻🔥
That’s what fuelling properly, handling your stress, and looking after a body instead of punishing it actually does.
No extremes.
No starving.
Just the right process to put her somewhere she can now build from
new levels of health, new levels of performance.
Just the honest picture of what was really going on, and the behaviours to match it.
Here’s what most people miss:
Your body usually isn’t the problem.
The story you’ve been sold about it is.
Get that story right, and it’s not just your reflection that shifts
it’s what your body can actually do.
If you’re stuck, sure you’ve “adapted,” and someone’s still telling you to eat less and push harder…
