Today we celebrate a true West Bank legend and a special member of the rugby league family — PAUL FARRELL, MR WEST BANK! 🏆

At 2PM, Paul will receive his RFL Lifetime Achievement Award — recognition for a lifetime of giving so much to our club and to rugby league. 👏

Player, coach, chairman, president, pot washer, chief BBQ’er… whatever needed doing, Paul was always there. ❤️🖤💛

Today, we want EVERYONE there — West Bank family, past and present players, coaches, families, friends and the wider rugby league family. 🏉❤️

The good news… WE FINISH 2ND AND HAVE A HOME SEMI-FINAL! 🏆🔥

This Saturday isn’t just another day at West Bank Rugby Club… it’s a day to celebrate one of the most special people in our club’s history.

🏆 PAUL FARRELL — MR WEST BANK 🏆

Paul’s contribution to West Bank goes far beyond simply being involved in the club. Over the years, he has quite literally done it all.

He has pulled on the shirt as a PLAYER, stood on the touchline as a COACH, led the club as CHAIRMAN, and served proudly as our CLUB PRESIDENT.

But it doesn’t stop there… 😂

He’s been the pot washer, chief BBQ’er, organiser, problem solver, voice of reason — and, most importantly, the person who has always been there for everyone. ❤️🖤

No matter who you are, what you need or what’s going on, Paul has always found the time to help, support, listen and be there. That’s what makes him so special.

For generations, he has given his time, energy, knowledge, passion and heart to West Bank. He has helped players, supported families, created memories and played a huge part in making West Bank the club and family it is today.

And now the RFL have recognised that incredible lifetime of service with a Lifetime Achievement Award. 🏆

It’s recognition of something we at West Bank have known for years — Paul is a true rugby league legend and an even bigger West Bank legend.

Paul Farrell has given a huge part of his life to West Bank Rugby Club — his time, his passion, his commitment and his heart. Generations of players, families, coaches and volunteers have seen just how much West Bank means to Paul.

And now, it’s not just us who see it — the RFL see it too. ❤️

Paul is being presented with the RFL Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising a lifetime of dedication, commitment and service to rugby league.

Paul, this award is so richly deserved. Thank you for everything you have given to West Bank and to the wider game.
