With basic boxing technique shown and used on the pads

As it says above , it’s not a case of practice makes perfect. Its perfect practice makes perfect.whether thats boxing or weights. Filming yourself training to look back at your posture, technique, how the range of motion you get are all very useful tools. Feedback from coaches or PTs again is massively beneficial and is one of the biggest benefits for having a PT is to make sure you are getting that good technique to build good habits with exercise. Core Principals of exercise - Progressive overload
Third and final post on the core principles of exercise and training .
Today it's Progressive Overload

(Another) full body superset workout
Must be something special going on for me to post twice in such a short space if time! ( A week)
Last one of my plans that I'm doing at the moment to keep getting my weight training in when I can.
It works well for me and as I have mentioned before there's nothing magical about supersets, just smart 'scientific' training.
To get the most out of it i think it's best to train opposite muscles to what you have just worked or something completely unrelated to the last exercise.
Example would be doing squats then doing curls or curls then tricep extensions.
Today's plan was:
Hip thrusts and calf raises
Weighted press ups and pull ups
Reverse fly and back raises
Going heavy
2 sets
6 - 10 reps for most

Superset Full body workout
( I accidentally rolled the dumbbell towards my phone so I had to film the first two separate 😬)
One of my current workout plans so I can get my weights done in a short time. I keep telling myself I'll get up a little earlier so I can try and get more sets in but that's yet to happen
As always using super sets, one exercise straight after the other.
DB RDL and Ankle curls
DB Bench and DB rows
Plate side raises and cross body twists
2 sets
6 - 10 reps on most exercises and always working to or close to failure
Give it a go, supersets are great if you don't have a lot of time or even can't be bothered doing big workouts

Upper body session
This is my current Tuesday session , it's focussed on getting the most work done in a short time so I use supersets to help cut the time down.
Chin ups superset with dips
Side raises superset with reverse fly
Some hanging leg raises to finish
I do each set either till failure and just keep trying to get the reps up slowly over time or between 6 to 10 reps
With 3 sets of each exercise, so 6 supersets and 3 normal sets overall.
I've really been enjoying it so far and look forward to seeing if I can get more reps out with better form as I keep going.
