Introducing Martin ππ€
Whether itβs a club run, race day, or simply a quick chat before a session, Martin has a way of putting people at ease. Heβs always willing to offer encouragement, share a few words of wisdom, or recognise the effort someone has put in.
Many runners will know Martin for his famous MartBot pose, but theyβll also know him as the person clapping runners on, as he heads back on musters, celebrating their achievements, and making sure everyone feels valued.
His positivity, and support help make Robin Park Runners the welcoming community it is today.

Motivation Monday π€π
With temperatures staying high, this weekβs motivation is simple: look after yourself.
βοΈ Apply sun cream.
π§ Stay hydrated throughout the day.
β‘ Consider electrolytes before or after a run to replace the salts lost through sweating.
Take care of yourself, and enjoy the sunshine responsibly.

Introducing Becky ππ€
Becky runs as a reminder of what is possible. After being diagnosed with MS, Becky could have let that define her. Instead, she chose to take up running and embrace the opportunities it brings β new places, new friendships, new challenges, and new achievements.
As a Run Leader, Becky inspires others not because she makes things look easy, but because she shows up, keeps going, and focuses on what she can do. Her attitude is simple: every step counts, and every effort matters.
Becky is proof that running isnβt about being the fastest or strongest. Itβs about believing in yourself, doing what you can on the day, and never giving up on the things that make you happy. π€π

Motivation Monday π€π
The hardest part is often getting out the door.
We all have those days when the weather isnβt great, work has been busy, or the sofa seems far more appealing than a run.
But once youβve made it out the door, itβs just one step at a time. This week, letβs just focus on lacing up our trainers and showing up. The rest will take care of itself! πͺ
Our next club run is Tuesday at 6:30pm, Trencherfield Mill Car Park .See you there. ππ€

Introducing Sandra ππ€
Some people lead from the front. Others lead by making everyone around them feel comfortable, supported, and capable of more than they thought possible. Sandra does exactly that.
Over the past 6 years, Sandra has become a much-loved part of RPR. Her calm nature, reassuring approach, and ability to put runners at ease has helped many members grow in confidence and enjoy their running journey.

And of course, thereβs the carrot cakeβ¦ which may or may not have been responsible for a few extra PBs over the years! π₯π°
