We had 3 new students joining our little squad yesterday. Betsy (white), Mathews (orange), Zachery (white) all did amazing for their first ever competition with huge potential moving forward!

I am just one super proud Sensei and have such an amazing little group! Lots to take back and work on but I am really happy with everyone’s improvements!

Shouri Karate Club 8th kyu grading today with the amazing support form AKA Great Britain Vice President and Squad coach Sensei Dan! Everyone gave a great effort for their grading. You all should be very proud of how much effort you put in today. It was a great day!

Amazing seminar from AKA Great Britain Vice President and Squad Coach Sensei Dan! Thank you so much for coming to spend the morning with our club! Everyone was put through their paces with some great kumite drills.

Our last class of the year was a fun filled festive one.
The club has grown significantly over this year and I cannot believe how successful we are. Thanks to all the parents who support and believe in me and the club. Looking forward to what 2026 brings for Shouri!

Busy Thursday night class working on kata and kumite drills! We also welcomed back Jacob who had a short break from karate but decided to come back.

Delicious cakes from so very kind and thoughtful and a coffee and hash brown for breakfast from David! Definitely helped me feel better when I feel so rotten! Thank you so much.

Well done to Arthur and Harry today in their private sessions! Arthur improving techniques for kata and Harry working through syllabus! Both put in the hard work very well done!

3 x Silver and 3 x Bronze medals. Lots to work on and take back to the dojo but one thing for sure is the Shouri Spirit was strong today. Well done everyone for giving your best effort!
