ONE DAY TO GO until the Women's Euro 2025! This is for ALL the women in football! 🙌

🗞 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞

It is with great sadness that we announce that our club will be unable to enter a Ladies team for the upcoming 2025/26 season.

This decision follows the recent departure of the current manager and whole of last season’s playing squad, who have chosen to pursue opportunities elsewhere together as a group.

With this announcement being such a surprise and being on registration day, we have been unable to recruit suitably to enter a team into the league for the 2025/26 season.

While this has come as a shock and is a setback, we remain fully committed to the development of women’s and girls’ football within our club and our area, with the development of female specific facilities.

We will now begin the process of rebuilding, with plans to gradually recruit new players and coaching staff over the course of the season and return stronger.

Our goal is to return to competition as soon as possible, with the aim of entering a team into the local recreational league at the earliest appropriate opportunity, then building towards competitive matches at the start of next season.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our past players that have ever pulled on the Hindley shirt for their contributions and hard work over the last few years, and welcome anyone interested in being part of our next chapter to get in touch.

As the sun sets on our first ever Family Fun Day and we all finally put our feet up for a little while, we just wanted to take the chance to say a massive thank you. ❤️🖤

Thank you to all our amazing vendors, our event organisers, our volunteers, our staging crew, our live entertainment and most importantly, to our all of our you for coming down in numbers and showing your support! ❤️🖤

It was the first time we've done an event of that ilk, and of course there will be things we can improve, and things we can add for next time - but for now, thank you to you all and to the big man upstairs for holding off on the rain until 6pm! 🌧☀️

Hindley Town Ladies are incredibly proud of Laura Andrews and her partner Lee, who are taking on the Manchester 10K this May to raise much-needed funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, in memory of Laura’s beloved Nana.

Sadly, several members of Laura’s family have been affected by this devastating disease, which is why this cause is so deeply personal to her.

By taking on this challenge, Laura and Lee are honouring their loved ones and helping raise awareness and support for families impacted by dementia across the UK.
