On Tuesday 14th July the Outwood Academy school next to Hindley leisure centre is hosting their end of year Prom. This means the car park and surrounding roads will be busier than usual from 5pm onwards.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

📢 Aqua Aerobics Class Update

Unfortunately, we have had to delay the start date for our new Aqua Aerobics class, which was due to begin on Monday 20th July. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the instructor scheduled to teach the class has recently moved out of the area and is no longer available.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and understand that many of you were looking forward to taking part. Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to resolve the situation and secure a new instructor as quickly as possible.

We will provide an update and confirm a new start date as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your understanding and patience. 💙

Please be advised that on Tuesday 14th July, the Small Pool Casual Swim at 18:50pm will be cancelled due to a scheduled event taking place at the centre.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

Some exciting things are happening at Hindley Leisure Centre and Pool!

As part of our continued investment in Be Well Wigan's leisure centres, we are refreshing the gym space with newly installed flooring and all-new state of the art cardio machines from Technogym plus, a range of functional exercise equipment.

It means our gym space, gym changing, Sauna & steam room will be CLOSED ❌ from 10 August - 16 August meaning you will not be able to access these facilities however, our studios will remain OPEN ✅ during this period.

Understandably, this will be a busy period of development for Hindley Leisure Centre however, we will be working hard to minimise disruption and we thank you for your patience.

Don’t forget Be Well members can also access the gyms, group exercise classes and swimming pools at our other state of the art leisure centres: Ashton Leisure Centre, Wigan Life Centre - Healthy Living Zone, Leigh Leisure Centre, Howe Bridge Leisure Centre, Standish Leisure Centre and Robin Park Leisure Centre.
