Looking for 1 maybe 2 mid ability lads to come and join our team at cherrybrook bulldogs. Preferably a new goal keeper but doesn't matter if not. Away at bridgewater today in a pre season friendly, with a depleted team but the lads give it there all and despite no subs made the game very competitive and thats all were after.

Got off to a brilliant start going 1 nil up in the first couple of minutes with an incredible assist from Dylan in goals, a quick delivery up field on the counter for archie to show good dribbling skills to slot it home. The rest of the game was end to end but only for bridgewater to finish more of there chances.

2 coaches awards the first one Dylan. 2 brilliant saves in the first half. Brilliantly receiving the ball back from his defenders playing the ball out from the back and making some good forward passes. Played outfield for the last 10 mins and had a double save against him so unlucky not to get on the score sheet. Well done Dylan.

2nd went to david. Read the game so we'll today. Played up front for the first half and had an unbelievable shot hit the bar from about 20 yards. Put his hand up to play in defence second half when no 1 else would to give his team mates a go in attacking positions. Can't remember him losing the ball once and played some lovely balls through from the back. Well done mate.

Man of the match chosen by opposition coach was Alex. Honestly never stopped today, some heroic defending, runs down the wing and some brilliant crosses into the box. Just never got his chance to let one rip. But hes talking off the ball encouraging his team mates was brilliant today and its what stood out the most. A proper leader in the making. Well done Alex.

Yesterday, Wigan Warriors star, Sam Walters underwent his 20th session of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). Sam is utilising our chamber to facilitate and enhance his recovery process.

A brilliant victory today for our cherrybrook bulldogs reds team. Finishing the season on a high.

11 goals to shout about, some brilliant team goals and good communication which is what we've been after.

If I had 7 certificates for man of the match they all would have had one today, was extremely hard to leave people out of the awards today but im hoping all next season will be the case as we've got some really good lads starting to gel together.

Most improved today was Rex, by far his best performance for the bulldogs, a hat trick of goals in the second half. 2 of them coming in space of a minute straight from kick off. Well done mate.

Coaches award today chosen by wilson was archie. 4 goals and an assist. He was unstoppable archie today had his opposite winger beat right from the get go, skinning him on numerous occasions. 1 of his goals coming straight from a corner curling straight in. Well done mate.

Parents award was hamid. With record votes I think too. Hamids desire and determination to beat his man up front to get a shot off is something else. It's incredible to watch. 2 goals aswell today unlucky to not get hes hat trick Well done mate.

Man of the match today was alex and archie. The opposition coach was undecided. A goal and 2 assist from alex but his defensive work going un noticed today. He and along with some good saves from Dylan in goals was the reason Ramsbottom only scored 1 goal. An incredible performance from both alex and archie. Well done lads.

So hard not to mention everyone but just a brilliant morning to be a part of. Well done lads.
