Huge congratulations to our very own Ocean Diver, Pauline Shaw, who’s featured in the latest edition of SCUBA Magazine!

At 75 years old, Pauline continues to inspire every single one of us at Wigan Scuba Divers. Her journey — overcoming challenges, chasing a lifelong dream, and qualifying as a BSAC Ocean Diver — has now been recognised on a national stage.

Seeing her story in print is a proud moment not just for Pauline, but for our whole club.

Friday 19th June Wigan Scuba Divers welcomes TV celebrity Shannon Lavelle and musical sensation Cara Daniella to our pool session to experience the magical underwater world of scuba diving. It’s going to be an amazing evening. 🤿🤘💙

Fun and games at club meeting last night 🤿
Liam finished his ocean diver theory 👏whilst Patryk started his for the beginning 👌. Our equipment officer Jeff won the raffle 🎟️ to pick a key to open the box but sadly failed to choose the correct key 🔑 so the prize fund increases and rolls over to next week ! 💰💰

What a night ! Lots of drinks and lots of laughs with fantastic people. At Wigan scuba divers we don’t just dive, we host some amazing social nights too. Out around in Chorley and then back to Wigan to hit the clubs were we ran into TV celebrity Shannon Lavelle and friends who disclosed to us that she has always wanted to scuba dive, so guess who will be joining us in the pool for try dive experience 🤿🎬⭐️

What an amazing night, 5 x try dives, 1 x new student, 3 x existing students and a bunch of mad instructors. Lots of bubbles and lots of smiles.
