We are all feeling truly inspired after attending The King's Trust Team Programme final presentation in today! 🌟

From rebuilding self-confidence to taking big steps toward employment or university, it’s amazing to see how this programme helps young people break down barriers and realise their potential.

The historic Sankey Canal, England's very first canal of the Industrial Age, is set for a major boost! Thanks to a £230,000 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, a new project is set to bring this historic waterway back to life, protecting its rich history and creating vibrant blue-green spaces for our communities to enjoy.

This incredible project is being led by Groundwork, working in close partnership with: The National Lottery Heritage Fund (and all National Lottery players who made this possible!), Sankey Canal Restoration Society (SCRS) and St Helens Borough Council ...and amazing local volunteers!

Huge congratulations to Business For Youth in Newton-Le-Willows on securing a £1,000 Tesco Fruit & Veg Grant through Groundwork. 🎉

Because of this funding, local children can keep enjoying the Junior Gardening Club completely free of charge - learning to grow their own food, making outdoor art and brightening up their local town centre and hospital with vibrant flowers! 🌸

Initiatives like this make a massive difference to local communities and a huge thanks to Tesco for your support. 🙌
