The Northern Network and Groundwork were absolutely delighted to support the BIG Build Day yesterday at N-Vision and the Princess Alexandra Home in Blackpool.
The aim was transform these green spaces into accessible, beautiful areas for everyone to enjoy.
We were completely overwhelmed by the incredible support from our local volunteers. Together, with expert help from Multipave NW Ltd and Beaverbrooks staff, we managed to:
π Demolish a dangerous old shed
π Build two large raised planters
π¨ Paint benches and refresh the gardens
π£οΈ Repave a polytunnel & dig out a brand-new path
π£Create new paved areas and lay down a safe sand surface
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and got involved. This is a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together! β€οΈ
