✨ Celebrating Success – Congratulations Beck Lowe! ✨

We are incredibly proud to recognise one of our wonderful team members, Beck Lowe, who has recently won the Best Make Up Artist Award at the Great Northern Wedding Awards 2026. 🏆💄

Many people know Beck as a valued and hardworking member of our domestic team, where she consistently demonstrates kindness, dedication and compassion in everything she does. She is always willing to go the extra mile and is a much-loved member of our care home family.

What some may not know is that alongside her role with us, Beck has worked tirelessly to build her own professional make-up artistry business. Through her talent, determination and commitment, she has now received the recognition she so richly deserves.

We are delighted to celebrate not only a fantastic member of staff but also an incredibly talented professional who is a true shining star in her chosen field.

Congratulations, Beck! Your hard work, passion and achievement inspire us all, and we couldn't be prouder of you. 🌟

We enjoyed a lovely 😍 afternoon visit from our special friend Hannah from Musical Moments while some of us were out and about in the local community 😀

Julie, our regular volunteer, visited this morning to do her discussion group, and today's subject was our furry friends, their likes and dislikes and different breeds, and of course, special treats 🙋‍♀️🌄🐕😊

After lunch, it was the monthly church service with refreshments served and a little get-together after the service 😋⛪️❤️

Quite times to start this morning, reading about old-fashioned Wigan 🌄📚

We moved on to some gentle exercise and finished the session with a television quiz, which is becoming quite popular ✅️🤔😀

The afternoon group enjoyed some throwing games and skittles, and Ruth was the outright winner at dominoes, winning 5 times in a row ✅️🏆👏😀

Seems to have been a day for enjoying music 🎶

The ladies and gentlemen on the first floor came together to enjoy a sing-along session with some gentle exercises also being done ✔️

After lunch on the ground floor, we came together to listen to a sing-along session on the big screen 😋❤️👌

The music brought the best out in us, so out came the microphones 🎶🎤
