May has been one of the hardest months for our little family.

We’ve been processing impending loss, then the loss itself, while trying to hold and support Mya, Mum, and myself through it all. Grief has a way of touching everything.

But if there’s one thing loss and heartbreak continue to teach me, it’s how precious joy really is. How important it is to create it, seek it out, and make space for it wherever we can.

This half term has held some of the saddest moments we’ve experienced, but also some genuinely joyful ones. And somehow those things have existed side by side.

More than anything, I’m reminded that life is fragile, love is everything, and joy isn’t something to wait for it’s something to create.

I’m so grateful for every message, every kind thought, every check-in, every bit of love we’ve been surrounded by. We’ve felt it all, and it has carried us through more than you’ll know.

I’d be lying if I said I’m not struggling right now. I’m okay but I’m also in this strange limbo of feeling joy for the beautiful things and opportunities in my life and Mya’s while carrying something incredibly heavy at the same time.

I try so hard to find the positives in each day, to celebrate the wins and stay grounded in gratitude. That part is real. But so is this: watching someone you love, someone who’s helped raise your child for the past seven years, slowly fade away… it’s breaking my heart watching Myas grandad lose his sparkle and watching my mum be the strongest and most courageous version of herself yet 🥺😭✨

People often say I don’t know how you do it how you stay so busy and always smiling. The truth is, I choose to. The world already has enough sadness and anger. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy. It’s really, really hard.

If anything, this is teaching me deeply that life is so short. Hold your people close. Tell them you love them, every single day.

I want to continue sharing content that inspires and educates, but if I’m honest, right now I’m just surviving. I’m doing my best to show up and give value to those I support in person.

So I hope you’ll stay on this journey with me. Just as I try to hold space for you, I hope you’ll hold space for me too. I’ll continue to show up online as best I can. Because behind the smile, there’s also deep sadness and heartbreak and I’m just doing the best I can.

Over 55 women 😭😘🎉

That’s how many women I’ve had the honour of meeting, connecting and helping this week

Every time I relaunch my groups I’m so proud, excited and truly grateful that I’m able to use my knowledge, experience and skills to be able to facilitate support for so many women.

Here’s to the next 12 weeks and beyond together helping each other every step of the way😘💪

This video feels like a true reflection of who I am my energy, my spirit, and what I bring to everything I do.

I’ll dive in fully. I’ll show up. And I hope, in doing so, I inspire others to feel brave enough to do the same.

Right now, I’m busier than I’ve ever been juggling multiple professional projects, both my own and those I’m grateful to support, while also navigating a deeply emotional situation at home with the people I love most. I won’t pretend it’s easy, because it isn’t. I am struggling at times but I’m also learning, every day, how to manage, to cope, and to keep moving forward.

One of my favourite parts of this video is hearing Mya shouting, “Go mummy, go.” knowing my girl is my biggest cheerleader means everything to me.

She’s the reason I keep pushing. She inspires me to create more impact, and to keep finding ways both personally and professionally to grow, to balance, and to keep going.

There’s just something about the sun being out—it lifts everything. It makes me excited to get outside more, to make memories with our Mya, head out for runs, and simply soak up those warm rays on my face (hello, much-needed Vitamin D!).

The first few months of the year can feel so heavy the long days, dark nights, and gloomy skies but now that it’s getting lighter, I really hope things start to feel brighter for you too.

In the beautiful chaos of my little life, I’m trying to find small moments of stillness in the sunshine and just be present because that’s really all we have.

With the weather improving, I’m planning to organise a few park picnics for local mamas, as well as some pram and carrier walks. Let’s get outside, move our bodies, and enjoy it together ☀️

One of the biggest barriers I see for women returning to running isn’t motivation it’s access.

Access to guidance that actually makes sense.
Access to support you can trust.
And access to something that’s affordable and fits around real life.

That’s exactly why .81 and I created She Runs.

Between us we bring a wealth of knowledge, qualifications and experience supporting women through pregnancy, postnatal recovery and returning to exercise and we believe that kind of guidance should be accessible to more women, not just a few.

She Runs is a flexible, home-based programme designed to support your return to running with the foundations that are often missing from typical plans strength, stability, pelvic floor considerations and gradual running progressions.

No gym needed. Minimal equipment. Built to fit around real life.

Designed for women returning to running postnatally, but also suitable for anyone coming back to running after time away who wants a more supported, considered approach.

✨ Affordable
✨ Accessible
✨ Evidence-informed

If returning to running has been on your mind, this is your sign.

She Runs is now available to purchase through the link in my bio or DM me or Claire for more information 📥
