It was our first roll up of the year today and the green performed well for this time of the season. Our roll ups will now be held Wednesday afternoons at 2:30pm and Sunday mornings at 10:30am. We have spare sets of bowls so all you need is some flat soled shoes to come and have fun learning this fun and social sport of bowls in this great village setting. DM for further details or just turn up to play.
Another good win last night in the Business House League away at Melbourn. Victory on both rinks. Well done everyone. Don’t forget roll up tomorrow from 2pm weather dependant. All welcome.

The green has been cut earlier today and weather permitting there will be a roll up tomorrow morning .

Last Sunday saw the latest annual Willstanton Cup match with our friends from Longstanton. It was a lovely day for it and so good to see our green in such good condition this early in the season. Four rinks in use with 24 bowlers taking part. It was a close match with Longstanton coming out the winners by ten shots. Afterwards we had a fantastic buffet lunch and all in all a great day was had by all. Many thanks to everyone who helped with the buffet and organisation of the day and of course Longstanton for such a great morning of bowls. We hope to get the cup back next year!
Don’t forget we are having roll ups each Sunday morning and Wednesday afternoons now. Wednesdays at 2pm and Sundays at 10.30am.

It is time!!!!!!
Roll up tomorrow (Sunday) at 10:30 for anyone who wishes to try or find out more about bowls in Willingham. Just turn up in flat sole shoes and we will supply everything else you need to enjoy this great sport. You will be made very welcome regardless of experience, ability or age (children must be accompanied). Hope to see you soon.
