🟣Deadly Dozen Dublin Done ✅ Cambridge Loading🟣
What a privilege! Seeing this race front row, first hand, tour the UK and beyond is so exciting. What Jason Curtis has created is something really special. A race for all, tough, but for all.
Dublin was no exception and it was amazing to see this race reach Ireland 🇮🇪. The athletes of all abilities and backgrounds delivered.
On to Cambridge (my home town) and to see a fitness race of this size reach our city is a dream come true…what a moment this will be. Excited to see everyone there.
Representing Deadly Dozen on the mic 🎤 each week is, like I said, a real privilege. This opportunity is never taken for granted and I can’t thank Jason and his team enough for what Deadly Dozen has brought to my life as a person, a business owner, an athlete and now as an MC.

🟣🚨 I Found Rock Bottom… And I Couldn’t Be Happier🟣
Last weekend at DEKA FIT Manchester, I hit a point I’ve never experienced before.
This wasn’t my worst race.
It was my wake-up call.
This isn’t a sympathy post, and I’m certainly not looking for compliments.
It’s just the truth.
As I worked my way through only my third ever DEKA FIT and second solo, I couldn’t believe how much I’d allowed my own fitness to slip. Every zone exposed something. Every station hurt. Every minute reminded me I’d got comfortable.
And do you know what?
I absolutely loved it.
The weekend started with a laugh, lining up in the Deadly DEKA wave against the man himself, Jason Curtis , founder and CEO of Deadly Dozen. We sprinted off the line… for about three seconds! 😂 If you saw the video, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
After that… reality hit.
Whether it was the set overs, my least favourite stations, or even my favourites like the Tank and Ball Overs, it didn’t matter.
Everything was hard.
Originally I’d entered Manchester to race the DEKA Ultra on Sunday too.
By the end of Saturday, I knew I’d made the right call deferring it until November in Farnborough.
Because this race wasn’t about a finish time.
It wasn’t about a podium.
It wasn’t even about performance.
It was Day One.
The first training session of a new chapter.
And sometimes the most important race isn’t the one where you win…
It’s the one that tells you exactly where you stand.
Away from my own race, what a weekend for the Purple Army. Incredible performances, amazing support, and another reminder why I’m so proud to be part of this community.
A huge well done to DEKA too. You can genuinely feel the momentum building. The community is growing, the atmosphere is getting stronger, and the future of the sport looks incredibly exciting.
As for me…
The first seven days since Manchester have been some of the best training I’ve done in a long time.
Rock bottom found me.
Now it’s time to build the athlete back.

🟣🔴💀DEADLY DOZEN RELAY - First experience of a Deadly Dozen Relay and it was great fun.
Being on the other side of the fence was a great experience but it also allowed me to carry on with MC Duties between my Labour exercises.
I was on Farmers Carry, Front Carry and Clean and Press. I went for a full send on all of them and was pleased with my efforts…particularly 40 unbroken disc clean and press before finishing the other 20.
All in all it was a great experience to be out there with my relays buddies and get a Mori 💀 Medal and a patch for my efforts.

🟣There are moments in life that remind you just how much can change in such a short space of time🟣
Today at Deadly Dozen Bolton, founder and CEO Jason Curtis presented me with the two newly published books on fitness racing.
To have been asked to write the afterword for one of these books was something I never took lightly. It was a genuine privilege and an honour, and today, to finally hold them in my hands, was a very special moment.
I still remember those conversations with Jason in early 2024, before the very first Deadly Dozen event had even happened. I was excited by the vision then, and watching it grow into what it is today has been incredible.
Deadly Dozen has given me so much.
It has introduced me to amazing people, lifelong friendships, unforgettable places and opportunities I could never have imagined. It has given me the privilege of standing on the microphone as MC, doing something I genuinely love.
It has also given so much to my family. Michelle and my sons have become part of this journey too—learning the sport, volunteering at events, helping at the races we host at NMHF, and seeing first-hand what can be achieved when people come together around something they’re passionate about.
It’s also given so much to our Purple Army community. To now host Deadly Dozen events at the gym and watch athletes discover this incredible sport has been something I’m immensely proud of.
These books represent more than pages. They represent a movement that is only just getting started.
The future of Deadly Dozen is incredibly exciting, and what Jason has created is changing lives.
Thank you, Jason, for believing in me, for asking me to contribute, and for everything you and the Deadly Dozen team continue to give—not just to me, but already to thousands of people around the world.
Proud. Grateful. Excited for what’s still to come.
