Proof that showing up even when you don’t want to can ripple out further than you realise 💫
I wasn’t feeling it, but I shared it anyway — and look what happened.
Show up messy. Show up tired. Just show up.

We’re taught as kids that promises are important — the pinnacle of integrity, the gold standard of authenticity.
You must keep the promises you make to others.
Don’t make promises you can’t keep.
And yet…
What about the promises we make to ourselves?
As adults, we take promises off their pedestal.
We stop following through.
We delay, we reschedule, we convince ourselves they’re not that important.
But let me be clear —
This is not okay.
Every time you break a promise to yourself, you chip away at your self-trust.
Every time you say “I’ll start tomorrow,” you teach yourself that your word doesn’t matter.
And over time, that erosion becomes the reason you feel stuck, frustrated, or disconnected from the person you want to be.
So here’s your reminder:
The promises you make to yourself count the most.
Start keeping them.
Start small if you have to — but start.
Because self-trust isn’t built in grand gestures.
It’s built in quiet moments of follow-through.

Sometimes, bits of us get lost — or forgotten about. We forget that our identities are forged over time, built from countless layers.
Remembering those parts can be transformative. They remind you of different versions of yourself — not better or worse, just different. Layers.
Different environments invite those dormant parts to resurface. To dust them off and bring them back to life.
London did that for me this weekend. It often does. It brings out the London in me — that’s the only way I can describe it. A version of me that loves getting dressed up, that loves fashion. A me that loves hard on the people around me. A spicier me, if you will.
I never forget who I am, but weekends like this are a powerful reminder of exactly who the f!ck I am — in ways that sometimes get neglected.
So, my challenge to you is this:
What parts of yourself have been shelved?
What facets of your personality are gathering dust?
Because this matters. We are all multifaceted beings. You’re not just someone’s mum, someone’s wife, or your profession.
Neglecting those other parts of you will only ever limit your potential, your happiness, your ability to show up for others — and, honestly, the quality of your entire life.
So shine bright — in the way that only you can.

In an (online) world of rage bait and negativity, be the change.
Be the love, the light, the peace and humanity.
Set the precedent for what you’re willing to accept from others.
Because ultimately, it starts with you.
