Here are your 1st and 2nd XV squads for the double header preseason friendly vs Wath upon Dearne.

Plenty of new, familiar, and homegrown talent on display in the final hit out before the season kicks off. We hope to see you there for the 3pm KOs and join us in the clubhouse afterwards!

Preseason rolls on this Saturday for a big double header fixture.

The 1st and 2nd XV look forward to hosting Wath upon Dearne down at the club in the last run out before the new season starts

Your *revised* 2nd XV fixtures for the 26/27 season after the start of the season postponement.

The lads will start off their campaign away to Crewe and Nantwich 2s on 26th September

Your *revised* 1st XV fixtures for the 26/27 season, after the start to the season was postponed.

The boys will now kick off the season with everyone's favourite away day to Douglas on 19th September

A look back on the scoring tallies from last season, as the 1st XV and 2nd XV notched up some brilliant stats in their journeys to the title and promotion respectively.

“A class start to the pre season fixtures for the Wolves. A win away at West Park St Helens to start the boys off this season and some great rugby on show. A team of debutants were on show, who have now joined the many other illustrious ‘first timers’ (now up to 921, since 1959!) to have worn the Wilmslow shirt with pride. The future of Rugby in Wilmslow is looking good. Maybe one talented newcomers may join David Wrench, Jos Baxendell, and now Peter Cook as future England players who, like them, wore the shirt once, for the first time; you never know!. I could not have been any prouder when seeing Cookie receive his belated honours and I look forward to seeing him wearing it at the ‘Old Boys’ do later in the season.”

Disappointing news for this week's fixture as the preseason clash with Altrincham Kersal has been cancelled in light of the decision to postpone the start of the full playing season
