Tricia Winter & Sally Hilldrup held their Macmillan coffee morning at Wilmslow Bowling Club and raised an astonishing £754 !!
Crista Rodwell, Donna Johnstone, Paula Pettit, Sue Milroy and Gillie Hanna all worked so hard to help make the morning so successful and enjoyable.
Our gratitude and thanks go to everyone who attended, donated, baked and helped, we couldn't have done it without you. And a huge thank you to WBC for the use of their lovely facility. The perfect venue for such a worthy cause.

'End of season' at WBC.
And what a day it turned out to be.
What was it that made it so special ?
The great company, the ' not too competitive ' bowling or was it the cakes ? Oh, those cakes !
In the Ladies v. Men pairs bowling and in a reversal of last year's result, the Men prevailed so it was down to the ladies Captain, Anne Grace, to collect the much coverted 'Wooden spoon'. (It's actually a Rolling pin).
Alan Nottingham organized everything so a big thank you to him and to Mandi and Christa for looking after everybody.
The food always helps make the day at WBC so many, many thanks to all who baked or donated the delicious cakes.
But it's people who make places so everybody who attended deserves our thanks for making the day so enjoyable and memorable.
Until the next time.......

Knutsford Rd, the home of Wilmslow Bowling Club, was the chosen venue for the Alderley Edge Gents league Knockout Cup final.
After some top class bowling on the superb green, the big guns of Packhorse 'A' defeated the up and coming Wilmslow Grove 'A' team in what was a highly competitive and entertaining final, 201-150. An excellent performance from both teams.
Our thanks must go to Wilmslow Bowling Club and in particular to Paul & Mandy Maffie and their team who helped make the day so enjoyable.
Their hospitality was very much appreciated by everybody who attended.
Congratulations Packhorse 'A' !!
