Yes, I know you hate them…
... BUT, Bulgarian split squats are one of the best exercises for building strong legs, glutes, balance, mobility, stability and overall athleticism 👀

They can be adjusted for almost any goal too:
➡️ More quad focus
➡️ More glute focus
➡️ Strength
➡️ Hypertrophy
➡️ Mobility & control
➡️ Rehab & stability work

They humble everyone equally 😂

But if you slow the reps down, own the range of motion and stop rushing through them…
....they’ll pay you back big time 🤷👌

Build 3D shoulders with a lighter weight....

This movement primarily targets the lateral (middle) deltoid, which helps build shoulder width, improve shoulder balance, and support pressing strength.

Strong, well-developed delts also contribute to better shoulder stability and posture.

The mistake?

Going too heavy.

When the weight’s excessive:
❌️You shrug.
❌️You swing.
❌️You turn it into a full-body heave.
...And suddenly… it’s no longer a shoulder exercise 🤷‍♂️

Instead:
✔ Lower the weight.
✔ Slow the tempo. (Lower for 2 seconds)
✔ Keep tension where you want it.

Think quality reps > heavier reps.

This is one of the most butchered exercises in the gym — but when done well, it’s one of the most effective for building strong, balanced shoulders.
