Yesterday's awards....

D**k Of The Day - Diana! Had a good game in some different positions, but playing in the wet for the first time in a while caused havoc to a throw-in, slipping out of her hands. That can be excused, but then taking too long to dry it so the opposition were awarded the throw-in gets the award!!!

Player Of The Match - Boycie - a brilliant debut playing in a more attacking position than she is used to. But definitely didn't look out of place and gave the opposition troubles with her pace and quality on the ball from the moment she came on. Set up the important first goal and created many more chances!

Great start to the season!

A great performance and 2 goals in quick succession before half time were the difference in a good contest. We tired in the second half and when we did break down the strong Mitcheldean defence, their keeper made some brilliant saves!

Happy with the 3 points and a clean sheet!

Our season kicks off this weekend when we welcome Mitcheldean, who have been promoted and had a solid performance on their opening day of the season last weekend.

We know it won't be easy, but we are looking forward to getting our new season underway - some familiar faces returning and some new ones with us too!
