Suddenly Dakar Rally 2024 is underway, the Prologue done and dusted! Jane came home in a safe 56th after the 27km timed section (a nice little shakedown). Now the focus switches to tomorrow's Stage 1 and a hefty 414km special in a new area for the rally.

We would just like to give a warm welcome to Cody Spacagna on joining the Blades Bikes Race Team.
In the 2023 season Cody was on a 125 racing at MX Nationals and various other championships. He managed to finish an impressive 6th just in front of Tyla Hooley in the MX Nationals MXY1 championship.
For 2024 Cody is going to be riding the Bridgestone Amateur MX2 category onboard his new Fantic XXF250 2024 with help from the team here at Blades Bikes. You will also catch him at Hampshire motocross club as well as Kensworth so feel free to have a chat with him and have a look at the Fantic XXF250.
We can’t wait to see what the 2024 season has in store for you Cody!

2023 recap:
Now we have had the last round of the Mx nationals we thought it would be a great time to have a recap on the year we have had due to us not competing in this weekends British championship finale at Monster Mountain.
The first Pro podiums for both Charlie Cole and the Blades Bikes team in the British championship and the first pro wins in the Mx nationals and Bridgestone mx British masters.
The last round of the MX Nationals saw Charlie in the championship lead, although we gave it our all we came away 4th overall for the year. I am super proud to be able to say we were in that championship fight. A huge congratulations to Carlton Husband for winning the championship.
Sadly this was the last race Charlie Cole competed in for the Blades Bikes race team as Charlie is set to ride for the Phoenix tools Kawasaki team for 2024, for those asking I am delighted to say I will still be working along side Charlie as his mechanic for the 2024 season.
We have had a great 3 years together as a team progressing to the top of British motocross and I look forward to see what the future holds for Charlie and as always I will be by his side.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have helped along the way as it has been a huge team effort, so a huge thank you to my guys and girls at Blades bikes (they know who they are) as well as:
