2 years. Done.
Defence College of Logistics, Policing and Administration (DCLPA) Worthy Down.
Phase 2 ITTS/STTS… that chapter’s officially closed.
Joined in 2024 not really knowing what to expect… leaving in 2026 with a lot more experience, lessons learnt, and memories made.
Ups, downs, graft, early starts, late finishes… all part of it.
Worked alongside some top people across Army, RAF & Navy good standards, good banter, and plenty of “keep standards high” moments 👀
Being part of the PTI / gym staff here has been a privilege.
Watching trainees come in raw and leave fitter, sharper and more switched on that’s what it’s all about.
Not every day was glamorous… but every day had purpose.
Grateful for the people, the lessons, and the time here.
Now onto the next chapter 👊
Standards don’t drop. Ever.

10 miles. 1:06 finish. 4:08/km pace. Progress. 🏃♂️🔥
10-mile race today at the Chippenham Spring 10 Miler hosted by .
Used this race as a progress test on the road to the Manchester Marathon in April, and I’m really happy with how it went.
Marathon training isn’t about one big run or one race… it’s about consistency, discipline, and getting the basics done well week after week.
Every mile is building towards the start line.

STOP SCROLLING 👀
I’m running the MANCHESTER MARATHON.
📍 19th April 2026
42.2km.
Months of preparation.
Thousands of steps.
One start line.
Right now it's:
🌅 Early morning runs
🌧 Miles in the rain
🔥 Hard sessions when the legs are tired
🧠 Discipline when motivation disappears
Marathon training isn’t glamorous.
It’s consistency.
It’s showing up when nobody is watching.
It’s stacking small wins every single week.
Every run now is building towards one thing…
Race day in Manchester.
If you see me out running with tired legs…
Just know the goal is locked in. 🎯

For those who are new here, and those who have followed my journey
I’m Jay Aldore.
I’m currently a serving soldier in the British Army, with 15 years of active service, including over 10 years as an AAPTI.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked to develop physical capability, resilience, and professional standards under pressure.
I’m also a Level 3 Personal Trainer & Practitioner, CIMSPA accredited.
Outside of work, I’m a husband to Helen, a dad to Otto, with a baby girl on the way.
I’m a family man, and I understand that life isn’t always simple, time is limited, responsibilities grow, and some days are harder than others.
My passion for physical fitness is built on high standards.
I genuinely love training, and I care deeply about helping people who want to change, improve, and get better, physically and mentally.
That’s why my approach is based on honesty, accountability, and consistency.
No shortcuts.
No hype.
No false promises.
If you train with me, you’ll get clear structure, direct feedback, and standards that don’t drop when things get uncomfortable.
Focus on the input, the output will always reflect the work done.
This is how I train.
This is how I coach.
This is what I stand for.
