Yoga is a wonderful practice that harmonizes the body, mind, and spirit. Whether you’re looking to improve flexibility, build strength, relieve stress, or simply find a moment of peace in your day, yoga offers a path for everyone.

For beginners, starting with simple poses can help you ease into the practice and build confidence. Here are a few foundational poses to consider:

1. Chair Pose (Utkatasana): A great pose to build a core and lower body strength.
2. Forward Fold (Uttanasana): This pose stretches the back and hamstrings.
3. Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I): This pose strengthens the legs and stretches the chest and hips.
4. Warrior II (Virabhadrasana II)**: This pose builds strength, focus and stability.
5. Cat-Cow Stretch (Chakravakasana): A gentle flow that warms up the spine and eases tension.
6.Puppy pose (Uttana Shishosana): Lengthens the spine, stretches the shoulders.
7.Down Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana):Strengthens the upper body, lengthens the back of the legs, improves circulation.

Not necessarily the asanas that we will be working on those term, but here is some inspiration and ideas!
Classes will start on 7 September. New evening classes on Mondays and on Thursdays at 6pm.

Classes start this Saturday 10 September with a Hatha flow for the whole body. Lessons are on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturday.
