Youāre not lazy.āØYouāre not unmotivated.āØAnd your body isnāt giving up on you.š
But when even gentle movement feels exhaustingā¦āØWhen your joints ache in ways they didnāt beforeā¦āØWhen your energy disappears without warningā¦āØOr when youāve quietly stopped altogether because it just feels like too much, it can feel so tough and, at times, quite isolating.
Especially if youāre living with chronic pain or chronic fatigue, navigating perimenopause⦠or simply moving through a season where your body no longer feels predictable or safe.
You might find yourself stuck between:āØš pushing through and feeling worseāØš or avoiding it completely and feeling frustrated
Iāve been there too. After neck surgery. After miscarriage. After years of living with persistent pain.
I know what itās like to feel that disconnect.āØTo question what your body is capable of.āØTo move carefully⦠or not at all⦠and to loose your confidence.
And what Iāve come to understand - both personally and through working with so many women is this:
Itās not that movement isnāt for you.āØItās that your body is asking for something different now.
Your nervous system has changed.āØYour energy has changed.āØYour capacity has changed.
And the fast-paced, high-output movement that maybe once felt good can start to feel overwhelming and depleting.
This is where many women lose trust in their bodies.
But itās also where a new relationship can begin. One built on listening. On kindness. On feeling safe again. On recognising exactly where you. Because you donāt need to push harder.
You just need a different approach.
I am 47 and feel the strongest I have felt in a while but more importantly, Iāve found a way to move that feels safe and supportive.
If youāre ready to gently explore something new come and join me on the mat. Comment JUNE below or send me a DM and Iāll send you the link to your 14 day free trial which will include access to our full online membership plus live classes. No pressure. No expectations. Just a space to begin again.
And if someone came to mind while reading this,āØsend it to them too š¤
Hope to see you on the mat.ā¤ļø

If youāre going through a difficult season, self-care can often feel like one more thing on an already impossible list. Yet those are often the moments when caring for yourself matters most.
Itās a time to pause and check in with your heart. To notice how youāre responding to lifeās challenges. To reflect on the patterns, behaviours and relationships around you, and to make the choices you need to make in order to create the life you want to live.
We canāt always control what happens to us, but we can choose how we meet it.
You are the architect of your life.
As someone who has travelled a long road with my own mental health, I know first-hand how transformative yoga can be. Beyond the physical practice, it offers tools that can gently shift perspective, regulate the nervous system and help us find steadiness when life feels uncertain.
My own life feels pretty messy right now, but yoga and nature continue to provide a calm and steady anchor. They remind me that contentment isnāt found in perfect circumstances - itās something we can cultivate within ourselves, even during lifeās more challenging chapters.
And perhaps most importantly, when we choose presence over panic and steadiness over drama, we create something different for our children to witness and learn from.ā„ļø

Youāll rarely hear me say yoga will āchange your lifeā (although I think itās possible)ā¦But I will say this: it changes how I move through mine.ā„ļøš«¶š»
Thatās why I keep returning to it. As a teacher, yes - but more importantly as a human who needs grounding, rest, strength, breath and space too.š¤
I LOVE my weekly class with my wonderful teacher and sharing those 75 mins with Gemma, the yogis in the room, and my heart, is a game changer.š
If life feels fast and overwhelming, yoga will help you to slow down, listen and feel more present⦠I donāt think anyone has ever regretted going to a yoga class⦠well maybe hot yoga š„µš¤¢ (the only yoga class Iāve ever walked out of! š)
Have a lovely day.

My clients often come for the yoga⦠and quickly realise itās so much more than that. A space to slow down, soften, exhale and simply be held for a while.š
Our garden sanctuary in Twyford is so much more than movement on a mat. Itās a space to exhale, slow down, sip tea in the sunshine, listen to the birds, reconnect and return to yourself for a while.
No pressure. No rushing. No expectations. Just gentle yoga, calm energy, supportive guidance, nourishing conversation and a peaceful pause that feels a little like stepping out of real life for a moment. Often you donāt need some big reset or set of new goals, just a chance to listen quietly to your heart.
We are a little sanctuary of love and kindness for tired minds and busy hearts.š«¶š»š I canāt wait to welcome you sometime soon. Love Beks x

This meditation practice has been a game changer for me over the last few years. Itās enabled me to find peace and contentment in my heart when I thought it wasnāt possible. I hope it helps you too.
Sometimes the most powerful shift
is simply softening what youāre holding š¤
A gentle practice to come back to yourself.ā„ļøš«¶š»
