You’re not lazy.
You’re not unmotivated.
And your body isn’t giving up on you.šŸ’›

But when even gentle movement feels exhausting…
When your joints ache in ways they didn’t before…
When your energy disappears without warning…
Or when you’ve quietly stopped altogether because it just feels like too much, it can feel so tough and, at times, quite isolating.

Especially if you’re living with chronic pain or chronic fatigue, navigating perimenopause… or simply moving through a season where your body no longer feels predictable or safe.

You might find yourself stuck between:ā€ØšŸ‘‰ pushing through and feeling worseā€ØšŸ‘‰ or avoiding it completely and feeling frustrated

I’ve been there too. After neck surgery. After miscarriage. After years of living with persistent pain.

I know what it’s like to feel that disconnect.
To question what your body is capable of.
To move carefully… or not at all… and to loose your confidence.

And what I’ve come to understand - both personally and through working with so many women is this:

It’s not that movement isn’t for you.
It’s that your body is asking for something different now.
Your nervous system has changed.
Your energy has changed.
Your capacity has changed.

And the fast-paced, high-output movement that maybe once felt good can start to feel overwhelming and depleting.

This is where many women lose trust in their bodies.
But it’s also where a new relationship can begin. One built on listening. On kindness. On feeling safe again. On recognising exactly where you. Because you don’t need to push harder.
You just need a different approach.

I am 47 and feel the strongest I have felt in a while but more importantly, I’ve found a way to move that feels safe and supportive.

If you’re ready to gently explore something new come and join me on the mat. Comment JUNE below or send me a DM and I’ll send you the link to your 14 day free trial which will include access to our full online membership plus live classes. No pressure. No expectations. Just a space to begin again.

And if someone came to mind while reading this,
send it to them too šŸ¤

Hope to see you on the mat.ā¤ļø

Too good not to share…

"I love Live + Flow! I use it almost every day and there is so much content to choose from. The membership is easy to use and Beks' guidance is so supportive.

I love how easy it is now to bring yoga into my life. It feels so good knowing I can dip in and out whenever I choose and create my own regular practice without paying tor expensive classes.

And being able to practise live together each month makes it even more special."

If you'd like to connect with a real yoga teacher (me!), who actually knows your name, and feel part of something that is supportive, intimate and real, without all the noise of social media?

Join me inside our membership, Live + Flow. It's a special place, and whether you're brand new to yoga or have an established practice but want to feel held within a community, you're very welcome.

Inside the membership you'll find 150+ videos, Monthly Live Classes, a monthly calendar of classes to keep you on track, mini series to find continuity and growth, and regular little checks in from me.
It's free for 14 days and after that free trial, there's a little bonus gift too!

It's affordable (Ā£14.99 a month) and there aren't any hidden costs. What's stopping you from giving it a go....

If you’re going through a difficult season, self-care can often feel like one more thing on an already impossible list. Yet those are often the moments when caring for yourself matters most.

It’s a time to pause and check in with your heart. To notice how you’re responding to life’s challenges. To reflect on the patterns, behaviours and relationships around you, and to make the choices you need to make in order to create the life you want to live.

We can’t always control what happens to us, but we can choose how we meet it.

You are the architect of your life.

As someone who has travelled a long road with my own mental health, I know first-hand how transformative yoga can be. Beyond the physical practice, it offers tools that can gently shift perspective, regulate the nervous system and help us find steadiness when life feels uncertain.

My own life feels pretty messy right now, but yoga and nature continue to provide a calm and steady anchor. They remind me that contentment isn’t found in perfect circumstances - it’s something we can cultivate within ourselves, even during life’s more challenging chapters.

And perhaps most importantly, when we choose presence over panic and steadiness over drama, we create something different for our children to witness and learn from.ā™„ļø

You’ll rarely hear me say yoga will ā€œchange your lifeā€ (although I think it’s possible)…But I will say this: it changes how I move through mine.ā™„ļøšŸ«¶šŸ»

That’s why I keep returning to it. As a teacher, yes - but more importantly as a human who needs grounding, rest, strength, breath and space too.šŸ¤

I LOVE my weekly class with my wonderful teacher and sharing those 75 mins with Gemma, the yogis in the room, and my heart, is a game changer.šŸ’š

If life feels fast and overwhelming, yoga will help you to slow down, listen and feel more present… I don’t think anyone has ever regretted going to a yoga class… well maybe hot yoga 🄵🤢 (the only yoga class I’ve ever walked out of! šŸ˜‚)

Have a lovely day.

And quite frankly, I don’t trust anyone who says they have!
Lots of love from me and my messy life to you and yours.ā˜ŗļøšŸ«¶šŸ»ā™„ļø

My clients often come for the yoga… and quickly realise it’s so much more than that. A space to slow down, soften, exhale and simply be held for a while.šŸ’›

Our garden sanctuary in Twyford is so much more than movement on a mat. It’s a space to exhale, slow down, sip tea in the sunshine, listen to the birds, reconnect and return to yourself for a while.

No pressure. No rushing. No expectations. Just gentle yoga, calm energy, supportive guidance, nourishing conversation and a peaceful pause that feels a little like stepping out of real life for a moment. Often you don’t need some big reset or set of new goals, just a chance to listen quietly to your heart.

We are a little sanctuary of love and kindness for tired minds and busy hearts.šŸ«¶šŸ»šŸ’š I can’t wait to welcome you sometime soon. Love Beks x

This meditation practice has been a game changer for me over the last few years. It’s enabled me to find peace and contentment in my heart when I thought it wasn’t possible. I hope it helps you too.

Sometimes the most powerful shift
is simply softening what you’re holding šŸ¤

A gentle practice to come back to yourself.ā™„ļøšŸ«¶šŸ»
