Today I have been using my 1920’s Purdey with Hull Cartridge’s Imperial Game 65mm 26 gram load. This traditional light load is ideal for Hampshire Partridges. Giving consistent dense patterns. - soft on you, hard on game.

Don’t see many pairs like this. Pair 12 bore 1888 Purdey’s. In there original Oxford Street case. Been re-barred buy the make and converted from non-ejectors by them also. A true historical pair of useable guns.

Do you know how rusty the inside of your gun can get? Sure the barrels are clean and it still works but when spending so much on game shooting surly you can budget in a strip and clean to give that peace of mind.
