Team Hampshire - Short Mat Bowls

Chris made a valiant effort in defending his title yesterday, reaching the semi finals before coming to defeat - a brilliant run yet again 👏👏

Today sees our defending national under 18s singles champion Chris Hardman compete to retain his title - he is currently in the quarter finals! Come on Chris!

Leah, Jason and Ryan made it to the quarter finals - a huge congratulations to the three of you, and to everyone who has represented Hampshire at this year's national championships.

This marks the end of our competitive season, a massive well done and thank you to everyone involved in Hampshire this season - we cannot wait to get back on the mats in a few months time 👌

Our fours efforts today saw the brilliant four of Matt, Leah, Steve and Aidan reaching the semi finals - brilliant run, well done all of you 👏👏

Today saw 2 of our pairs make it to the last 16, Leah and Ryan, and Callum and Paul - well done all, great effort 👏👏

Our best efforts today saw Aidan and Jason losing in the last 16 and then quarter finals respectively - amazing effort guys!

We go again with our pairs tomorrow 💪

This weekend has our very own Chris Hardman representing England U21s against Wales U21s - best of luck Chris!

Yesterday Hampshire held the Open 3 Wood Pairs, which resulted in a win for Leah Wood and Ryan Knight, well done both 👏👏

This year's world championships come to a close with Jason narrowly losing in the final to the now back to back triples World Champions. Hard luck and the hugest congratulations Jason, you have done us all beyond proud 👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👏

Day 2 of the World Championships and it's very much the same for our Jason McLean - finishing top of the group and advancing to tomorrow's World Quarter Finals 😍
