Stockholm World Championships 2026:
4th place! ✨✨✨
Emily and I had hoped for a podium position, but the field was incredibly strong. We gave everything we had, and fourth in the world is still something we’re really proud of.
I haven’t posted until now because, if I’m honest, there has definitely been an element of post-race and perhaps post-season blues. I needed a few days to step away from training, reflect on everything this 2025/26 season has brought, and think about how to move forward.
At 50 years old, after multiple injuries and years of learning to train smarter rather than harder, I feel incredibly grateful to be still standing on a World Championship start line, competing alongside the very best in the world.
As athletes, it’s easy to become consumed by the outcome. Moments like these remind me that success isn’t just about where you finish; it’s about the incredible people you share this journey with, and about continuing to grow, having the courage to keep chasing your potential.
A huge thank you to my incredible doubles partner, , for your commitment, your trust, your determination and for being such a brilliant teammate throughout this season. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to share this experience with ❤️.
Thank you to my coach, , for your belief, your knowledge, and for guiding me through a season that certainly wasn’t straightforward.
Thank you to everyone who has treated, encouraged, supported and been behind me every step of the way (, , , )
For now, it’s time for a short break. Time to recharge both physically and mentally, spend time with the people I love, and let the body recover.
Then it’s back to work.
The result this season has fuelled the fire for what’s next 😉.
Here’s to learning, growing and seeing what the next season can bring.

Deadly Dozen put on a fantastic championship event in Birmingham last weekend!
Winning the UK Champs AG Mixed Doubles with was brilliant. I had come in slightly anxious after my back went only 4 weeks before the event, but Myles was the perfect race partner and took the brunt of the stations.
We then did the Mixed Relay and took 3rd overall! The relay was huge amounts of fun and such a good excuse to race with the wonderful .
Deadly Dozen is a friendly event; all the exercises (labours) are easy to train, and all the equipment is available at any gym. For anybody wanting to try hybrid racing, this is a great option.
A big thank you to for my training programme and for helping me with prehab and rehab! Also, a thank you to for the supplements that I use to keep me fueled, hydrated and help with my recovery 💛
Doing my strength day on the Balkan Strength Machine 💪💫
It’s a motorised, eccentric-focused training method that maximises strength, power, and muscle endurance. Each session compares your performance on the screen in front of you 💥
5 sets: 6 seconds concentric, 6 seconds eccentric, 5 seconds break.
Sets 4 & 5 are brutal. I always question my life choices at this point 😁.
This has been a hugely rewarding couple of weeks racing the HYROX EMEA Championships and the Pro Doubles at Olympia London.
Last year was the hardest of my life. We nearly lost my son to a serious illness. I thought I could just soldier on, that my body wouldn’t be affected by the emotional strain our family was under. I was wrong.
It’s been a tough journey, made possible by the incredible people around me.
As recently as February, I thought my HYROX racing days were over. I’d lost the love for what it takes to win.
But with the outstanding support of my coach , managing my rehab and strength, and carefully rebuilding my engine, I found my way back.
To race twice this weekend… and win both… alongside my amazing partner was incredibly special.
Emily stood by me when I was struggling, and it was an honour to step in for her this week when she wasn’t firing on all cylinders.
HYROX is so much more than racing.
It’s about self-belief.
It’s a commitment to being the best version of yourself, not just for you, but for others.
And it’s the community. The friendships. The shared experience.
This wouldn’t be possible without my amazing support team: , and

With little inspiration to train on a filthy Thursday evening, I jumped in the car to train at one of my favourite places, CrossFit Southampton.
There is always such a great vibe. Despite the Baltic temperatures, everyone is upbeat and smiling. I breezed through the workout and went upstairs for a relaxing Hot Yoga session with the one and only .
What a perfect way to finish the day 💕💕

Hyrox Birmingham turned out to be a massive learning experience.
I am delighted to have won and secured a qualification for the World Championship Women’s Doubles with the amazing in Maastricht and now for the Women’s Solo too, but this race did not go to plan.
I didn't get the time I had hoped for and hit a wall at the last station. It felt like a mountain I couldn't climb, and that has never happened before.
This week is recovery and reflection week.
I am hugely grateful to my coach, , for her programming and for taking the time to debrief on the race and fuelling. We have a plan, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds for London in December.
has been great, supporting their athletes at the race and providing us with the supplements to help us perform at our best. I’m loving the Lactic Buffer supplement and could feel the benefits after each station. I was back up to my running pace much quicker.
I would also like to thank for the massages and tweaking pre-race, for ironing out the creases in the body and my team who cover for me while I’m away 💕
