Super proud of our Graded Adult Ballerinas who got their first Pointe shoes this weekend! Thank you so much to Roynon Dancewear for making it such a lovely experience 🩰

Term highlights from our beautiful Grade 3 & 4 ballerinas 🩰✨
Our Grade 4 dancers have shown fantastic improvement in their technique this term, particularly in their courus, arabesques, relevés, and port de bras at the barre. They have also demonstrated impressive strength and stability during their Pre-Pointe classes.
Our Grade 3 ballerinas have made great progress on their exam dance, especially with their chaîné turns and pas de chats, and have shown real dedication to improving their flexibility throughout the term.

Highlights from our contemporary dancers last term ✨
Our junior dancers got creative choreographing their Dynamics dances and made brilliant progress on their Runnin’ routine. Meanwhile, our senior dancers stepped things up by incorporating new lifts into their Run Boy Run performance.🏃♀️

Last term, our Grade 1 & 2 dancers made fantastic progress in both their performance skills and technique! 🩰 We've been enjoying learning our new Medal dances and everyone's hard work on flexibility has been clearly visible in their improved split leaps. 😊

We had a wonderful time with our Primary Ballerinas last term! 💗
We’ve been working hard on our skipping, making great improvements in coordination. We’ve also focused on our Port de Bras, encouraging graceful arm movements as well as practicing our dégagé exercise in preparation for upcoming watching week's.
One of our favourite parts of the term was our free movement time where everyone transformed into popstars! 🎤

We were so grateful to be invited back by the Abbotts Barton Colten Care team to perform with some of our lovely dancers. Catching up with residents afterwards was our highlight — especially hearing them reminiscing about being ballet dancers in their youth.
We had a wonderful afternoon meeting and getting to know you all 💛

Last term, our Petit Ballerinas began preparing for their watching week with a magical trip to the zoo. They searched the enclosures for escaped monkeys, balanced gracefully on one leg like flamingos, waddled like penguins, and stomped like elephants along the way. 🐧🐘 They topped off their trip by practising their sleeping lions dance, and meeting the Queen monkey!🐒

We had such a fun time celebrating in our Easter special classes! 🐣💐
Our little ballerinas have been busy working on their hopping skills, munching on carrots, and delivering eggs! 🩰🥕
Meanwhile, our older dancers got stuck into some Easter-themed fun with charades, letter games, obstacle courses, and some very competitive egg and spoon races! 🥚🏃♀️
To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a very exciting Easter egg hunt! 🍫✨

On our final week of term, our Petit and Primary ballerinas had the sweetest time celebrating Valentine’s Day! 💕
We mended broken hearts, used our beautiful arrow-besques to make everyone fall in love, danced with confetti, made hearts from our first position feet and ended our sessions performing duets. 🥰 ❤️
