Happy Hump Day!

Don’t forget that tonight at Old Alresford we have a slight change to the schedule.

Due to the extreme temperatures forecast today, we’ll be running our Revolution Bootcamp instead. I think it’s the safest way to keep the session going while still having a great workout.

💥 What is Revolution?

✅ 10 cardio stations
✅ 10 strength/toning stations
✅ 1-minute intervals on each exercise
✅ Alternating between cardio and strength stations
✅ 2 rounds

And of course, we’ll kick things off with Sally to get you warmed up! 🎵🔥

☀️ Hot Weather Tips

💧 Hydrate throughout the day and bring plenty of water. Adding electrolytes can help keep you hydrated.

🧊 Bring a cold, wet towel (pop it in the fridge or freezer beforehand) to cool yourself down between stations.

⏸️ Take a break if you need one — listen to your body.

👕 Wear appropriate gym gear to help keep you cool. (No, we don’t mind if you turn up in short shorts and a sports bra! 😆)

🚨 ATTENTION GANG !!!!!! 🚨

Tomorrow is going to be even warmer, so I’ve decided to run a circuit session instead. This will give us the chance to cool off between stations, keep the doors open (as the music doesn’t need to be as loud), and the toning sections will give you a chance to catch your breath between cardio sets.

If you’re already booked on and don’t fancy circuits, please let me know and I can transfer you to Thursday, Friday, or next week.

I think this is the most sensible option to keep the session comfortable, enjoyable, and running smoothly in the heat. ☀️😊

Tuesday Crew!!!

Another fantastic session ticked off this week, gang!! 💪🏼

Great energy tonight, and with the AC on full blast all afternoon, the club was lovely and cool. Thank you, Sarah, for getting everything set up so we weren’t all melting! 😊

That super set style was alright, wasn’t it? 😜💪🏼

Good morning Stanmore crew!!! ☀️

I know the weather is warm today, but we do have air conditioning in the club, so no excuses not to get booked on and come and smash your workout tonight! 💪🔥

We currently only have 3 people booked on, so let’s fill those trampolines and bring the energy! 🎉

🌡️ Tips to help keep cool in the heat:

💧 Stay hydrated throughout the day and consider adding electrolytes to your water before class.

🧊 Bring a wet towel and pop it in the fridge or freezer beforehand so you’ve got a nice cold towel to pat yourself down between sets.

🌬️ Bring a spray bottle of water to mist yourself between sets for a quick cool down.

🧘 Listen to your body – if you need to sit a set out, that’s absolutely fine. It’s important to work at your own pace.

⬇️ Take advantage of the lower-impact options whenever you need them. A modified workout is still a workout!

👕 Wear light, breathable clothing and bring plenty of water.

Don’t let the sunshine be your excuse today – you’ll feel far better after an hour of bouncing with us than sitting at home melting on the sofa! 😅

☀️ Good Morning Gang! ☀️

It’s going to be a hot week, but that doesn’t mean we stop training! Exercise is still perfectly safe in warmer weather as long as we take a few extra precautions and listen to our bodies. 💪

I’d like to keep our sessions running as normally as possible this week, so please come prepared and make use of these tips to help keep you cool, comfortable, and performing at your best:

💧 Hydrate well
Start drinking water before class, not just during it. Adding electrolytes can help replace salts lost through sweating. Bring plenty of water and take small sips throughout the session.

🍌 Fuel your body
Make sure you’ve eaten appropriately before class. Training in the heat can feel more demanding, so your body needs the energy.

🧊 Bring a cold towel
Pop a small towel in the fridge or freezer before class and use it to cool yourself down between sets.

💦 Bring a small spray bottle
Fill it with cold water and give yourself a light mist throughout the session to help stay cool and refreshed.

⏸️ Take breaks if you need to
Everyone responds to heat differently. If you need a moment to catch your breath or cool down, that’s absolutely fine. Listen to your body and rejoin when you’re ready.

🌬️ We’ll do our bit too!
Fans will be on at all venues, and our Stanmore venue has air conditioning. I’ll also be bringing along some extra fans to help keep the air moving.

The heat might make things feel a little tougher, but with the right preparation there’s no reason we can’t still have a fantastic workout and enjoy our classes this week. Let’s stay smart, stay hydrated, and keep bouncing! 🖤💚☀️🏃‍♀️💦

Happy Sunday, gang!!! ☀️

The weather is meant to be pretty hot this week, so I wanted to check in and see whether you’d like to keep classes running as normal.

I don’t want to keep classes on the timetable if people aren’t going to come along, but there are a few things we can do to help keep everyone comfortable and safe:

💧 Stay hydrated throughout the day and make sure you’ve fuelled your body before class. Electrolytes in your drink would be a great idea.

🧊 Bring a cold, wet towel to pat yourself down between sets.

💦 Bring a small spray bottle with cold water to spray over yourself during breaks.

We can also adjust the sessions if needed:

* Take some routines out and have more breaks between sets.
* Keep things as normal and play it by ear as we go.
* Run circuits instead, which would reduce some of the cardio.

I’ll have the fans running at Old Alresford, and Stanmore has air conditioning.

Epic session this morning! You all worked super hard, and there was less moaning than I expected, which was a lovely bonus (Kelly 😜😂).

Your form is improving massively. Lara, your squats were super low today, well done! 👏

Mia, great choices with the heavier weights 😘.

Sara, it’s been lovely having you back with us, and Sarah, well done for giving it a go today even though you were feeling poorly. You still got a lot done, so you should be proud of yourself ❤️

A special shout-out to Gracie, our youngest member, who was an absolute warrior today! 💪🔥 You gave it everything and smashed the session.

And let’s not forget Kerrie, Kelly and Gem, who spent most of the session trying to be trainers too 😂😂. You almost got it right, ladies! 😜

Wow, what an amazing session this morning! 🔥 You all came with energy, determination and fun vibes, and it was incredible to see.

Can I just give a special shout-out to our amazing Joy? ❤️ As the seniors/beginners session wasn’t on, she booked onto our intermediate session instead, and she absolutely smashed it! I was so impressed with you, Joy, you even took on the jumps! 😮👏

It just goes to show that age is just a number. You have to be willing to step outside your comfort zone because that’s where change happens. Joy started training with me around a year ago and has gradually pushed herself more and more, and now she’s doing things she never thought were possible. 💪🏼 So proud of you!

You all amaze me with your determination. Yes, some of you love a little moan along the way 😜, but every time you finish a challenge, you prove what I’ve known all along, you are capable of so much more than you think. And you show that with every session and every challenge you complete. ❤️
