53 yrs ago, England & Wales hosted the first ever Women’s Cricket World Cup.
53 years on, ahead of the Women’s T20 World Cup, the ECB is recognising 53 women whose impact is helping cricket thrive at every level.

Ladies in action in Round 2 of the Club Plate T20 🙌🏻💚

The ☔️ stayed away long enough in Derby today for a pre Women’s 2026 warm up game between 💚 HPCC 🌟 & ! ❤️. Great to see club represented on the biggest stage!

Whilst all HPCC teams are missing out on cricket due to the weather, our ground staff are still hard at work. U11 player, Noah, saved his pocket money to buy them all a giant box of biscuits to say thank you. What a lovely thing to do, well done Noah 💚 The biscuits won’t last forever though so if any other club members would like to donate to the snack stash to show our appreciation for all the ground staff do, we’re sure it would be most welcomed 🍪 🏏
